The Red Raiders' radio announcer is solely responsible for this loss. He brought bad karma all night by repeatedly mispronouncing the name of the A&M
reciever Uzoma Nwachukwu, "WATCH-a-koo".
Next week, the Kansas Jayhawks come to Lubbock for a 2:30pm CST tilt. Someone ... anyone ... please invite the defense! |

Florida is calling such a bizarre offensive game. They should be losing.

Can't figure the Raiders, either. Allow next to nothing to the Nebraska offense in Lincoln, but give up the farm against Texas A&M in Lubbock? Makes no sense. Well, these days it looks like anyone can stop the Nebraska offense... |

Texas Tech screwed me royally tonight. 21 confidence points.
The red raiders are a joke. |

21 confidence points lost on a single game must be a record. CRA, do some research.

The SEC is so overrated. The Big Ten is so overrated. The Big 12 is so overrated. The Pac Ten has always been overrrated.
I think I'll start cheering for Cincinnati and the Mountain West. |

Jesus Christ...what a crappy Husky game. So I'm sitting right in the middle of the Oregon section, pretending I like the Ducks, just biting my tongue and
trying not to swear in front of my mormon relatives while the huskies just play like crap.
Anyway, for those of you who wondered a while back about what was said to the Oregon LaBlount (or whatever his name is) that set him off in week 1 and made him go ballistic, apparently the LaBlount guy had said in an SI interview that they were going to kick Boise State's ass, and the Boise State guy said "Who kicked who's ass?" And then called LaBlount the "N" word. So there you have it. |

Can we get a quote? Is LeBlount credible? And "whose ass."

So anyone think that the PTI people that picked Missouri to win against Texas to apologize or say they were wrong on Monday?
I am going to flip if we aren't in the top 2 tomorrow. One more big game and UT has got this. |

Kind of a shitty week for college football. No big upsets and only a handful of exciting games...

Texas Tech-Texas A&M. Nebraska-Iowa State. Those were huge upsets. Tens of points underdogs. The Texas Tech game was especially what-the-fuck. 20+ point
underdogs win by 20+ points. That's a forty point swing.
Miami-Florida-Clemson. Miami was a top ten team in the BCS poll which was taking their last big test to get into a BCS bowl. That game was certainly dramatic- going into overtime. We also had top teams with close games with dramatic finishes. Alabama. Iowa. Notre Dame. |

Utah-Air Force also ended with overtime and a big upset.

I'll rephrase a bit. No big upsets among teams contending for the national title.
Notre Dame isn't a top team. Iowa has been playing it tight the whole year so that didn't really seem dramatic. The Alabama game was good. Didn't Utah win the Air Force game? That's not a big upset. |
