I don't think anyone who watches SNL could miss that.

Is her name Donna? Okay, no idea where I got Shirley from...unless it's some sort of repressed (and slightly racist) memory of Shirley from What's
Happening. I shall seek help.

I thought this was hilarious last night! Leslie imitating the electronic voice had me laughing forever.

I really did not realize how emotionally attached I was to this show until the end of the episode when they showed the pit filled in. I was genuinely excited
for the characters and the storyline. I mean, I knew I like the show and that it made me laugh... but I had no idea that I actually cared about it. Go Leslie Knope!

Were we not supposed to notice the cement columns that were erected in the pit before it was filled?

Why weren't we supposed to notice?
Anyways I thought it was great. "Are you willing to break the rules?" "I won't murder..." :bf So many great lines and moments last night and yes I was happy to see the pit filled too! Andy was just beyond adorable (and hello naked scene!). Great, great stuff. Glad it got picked up for the back 9. |

This show got a full season pickup. Thank God NBC is such a trainwreck. It'll keep this neat little show around a little longer.
ETA: It also beat Community in the 18-49 numbers last night.

This show keeps getting better and better <3
Lol @ the increasing amount of jabs at Jerry "Lets all pretend Jerry wasn't born" "What the ka-fuck were you thinking?" The pig "i hope you squeal better" lmao The lawyers were the best part of the episode. LOL Andy thinking Ann was calling him in a sexy voice, but in the end he wises up and drops the lawsuit. It's clearly being set up to have Ann choose between Mark/Andy. and finally the pit filled in. Really solid, but it had no April though |

So the pit gets filled in at the end of the season at least, what can they possibly move on to after that?

Andy is just all kinds of love. <3
Highlights: "I needed all eleven discs of Gossip Girl at the same time!" Jerry being a complete mute and yet still being hilarious. He's like a mix of Toby and Phyllis <3 Andy's random as fuck naked scene <3 I will say, the episode lacked April and that's never good. Also, Mark is a completely useless character. |

Woo Hoo!
October 23, 2009NBC picks up 'Community,' 'Parks' & 'Mercy'
All three have shown stability in their time periods in recent weeks. "We are very pleased with the critical and audience reaction to our wonderful new comedy 'Community,'" said NBC entertainment president Angela Bromstad. "The cast and producers are delivering a first-rate, quality show that is very promising as the newest of NBC's first-rate Thursday-night comedies." About "Mercy," Bromstad added: "This drama has found a dedicated audience and continues to build in the ratings. We've seen future episodes, and we're confident 'Mercy' can be a strong player for us." Regarding Amy Poehler's "Parks," Bromstad said, "'Parks and Recreation' has proven to be a steady performer for us on Thursday nights and gets better with every show." Absent from the pickup list: Monday night medical thriller "Trauma." "Community," "Parks" and "Mercy" have been modest performers, but this back-nine order gives the trio some breathing room to potentially improve. NBC, the final broadcaster to order additional episodes of their new shows this fall, also has a limited inventory of scripted content to fill any open slots. The network has "Chuck" on deck, which has been speculated might replace "Trauma" should NBC pull the medical thriller. NBC has "Parenthood" and "Day One" for midseason, though "Parenthood" has been delayed because of the illness of co-star Maura Tierney who was recently replaced by Lauren Graham, and "Day One" has been reduced to a mini-series, at least for now. Additionally, NBC is prepping multi-camera midseason comedy "100 Questions," which has undergone significant casting changes since the pilot. "Mercy" has averaged a 2.1 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49 and 7.8 million viewers and has boosted the time period 37% compared with the network's performance in the time period last season. "Community" has averaged a 2.6 rating, and 5.7 million. Though it debuted last season, "Parks and Recreation" was brought back for 13 episodes this fall and has averaged a 2.1 and 4.8 million. |

I'm loving that Jerry is becoming the office punching bag. It's an old joke, but they're doing it brilliantly.

That joke was extra funny because there actually are 11 discs of Gossip Girl. (Writer's strike in season 1).
