I liked Yul.
And I actually found CI to be very entertaining overall, I just didn't like 95% of the contestants. It seemed more like Survivor: Real World to me. |

Congrats to Yul. I consider him my favorite winner ever! And we can't say Yul would have lost to Ozzy in the final IC just cause Ozzy was a beast. Terry
went on a run and lost the final 2 challenges.

The reason people hate Yul is because he didn't do a fucking thing to win CI. Using a HII, benefiting from a mutiny twist & message in a bottle, while
being guaranteed a final three spot due to the fact that the idol was good through f4 makes his entire game premeditated. Oh and the only reason nobody would
vote against Yul is because THEY ALL KNEW HE HAD THE FUCKING IDOL so there goes the strategy part of his game. If Yul was so smart he would have figured out
that Jonathan/Candice were against him and been able to sway a few Raro's over to his side, but he couldn't do either and would have been voted out
indefinitely. See the great thing about Survivor is that if you are either outplayed or you make a mistake, you will either get voted out or adjust your
strategy accordingly...well Yul did neither and was rewarded for it. Did Hatch, Brian, Chris, Morasca, Parvati, Tom W or Aras need any of those things to help
them win...fuck no, because no matter what I or anyone thinks of them, they all were in control of their game the entire time while not having the luxury of
being able to make mistakes without paying for them the way Yul did knowing he wasn't going anywhere.

Also for anyone who says Yul did a good job keeping Aitu together, I call bullshit. Prior to the Mutiny he wanted Ozzy off, Ozzy couldn't stand Becky along
with Sundra before they somehow became best friends. That twist alone is what preserved what we now know as the most boring, sanctimonious, cookie-cutter final
four in the history of Survivor. CI was the perfect season for Yul because it allowed him to be the textbook politician he is in real life as opposed to a
creative minded player who can adapt to any situation by using their self-awareness & communications skills to succeed.
