I think a better question is: what happened to the pizza? Couldn't they have been nice and just given it to both tribes? I guess Jeff and the camera crew
got to eat it.

Remember when Sue quit and Jeff offered both tribes to share the food?
I guess this occasion wasn't important enough. |

I was excited for a triple boot episode only to have my dreams CRUSHED.

I suspect that there was no vote because the producers wanted to protect Shambo.

Shambo was totally safe. It probably would have been Liz and Monica going home. A triple boot actually would have been epic. Then the rest of the season
could have played out normally, since the only way 20 people seasons can work is if there are:
A triple boot and a double boot episode (Palau) Two double boot episodes and a F5 finale (Cook Islands) Three double boot episodes (Micronesia) As it stands, they didn't go for the triple boot, which probably means we'll have a F5 finale and a Final 3 facing the Jury. Lame. |

It certainly was inconsistent with their earlier decision to go ahead with a TC after Mike was medivac'd. But I guess since having no TC benefitted both
tribes no one really got screwed over. Foa Foa should be crying foul that they still had to vote someone out after Mike though. Galu shouldn't get special
treatment.

I agree, Foa Foa got hosed. They had to vote someone out after Mike went, then this time they were way out in front, and they had to stop and lose the reward.
It shouldn't have been a double TC, it should have just been IC/RC again. They stopped it because Russel was hurt, but when Mike was doing the same thing,
they just let them play on while he sat there trying to not die.

A triple boot would have saved this sorry season. My God, there are still 13 left. At this rate, the finale is going to be in February.

Wait, I'm confused. If Russell didn't get taken out, and had Foa Foa won the challenge, would both tribes still have voted someone out?

I went into this episode thinking there was no TC. But then the editing with all the strategizing got my hopes up for a triple boot. Fucking editors are a
bunch of teases.

I got my hopes up when Probst announced the double boot (and confirmed the double boot when he sent the two tribes back to camp after the challenge), but I
should have known that it wouldn't come to fruition when they spent way too much time on the rainy conditions for the first third of the show.
