Decent episode with Gary trying to prove that he can have a one-night stand without getting into a relationship. Tom and Louise are so adorable together. And
the best part is that Mitch is back off to war, which means that he won't be on the show anymore! Woo-hoo!

Yeah - I don't like the brother or the radio station - but I completely fell asleep half way through last night - was he successful at pulling off the one
night stand?
This show is desperately looking for another character - Krandle gone, the girlfriend didn't last long, Max Gail gone (I did like him), Mexican painting dude gone. If you ask me they don't need another regular - boyfriends/girlfriends for Jay and Paula would be enough. |

The blonde station owner didn't even show up this episode. A better plot device would have been for her to offer Gary an overnight radio gig in exchange
for him selling the show's ad space and working the day job at a discounted rate. Sort of a "how bad you want it?" deal.

I like this Curtis guy. He was on fire today with his homosexual euphemisms. I'm also starting to warm up to Sasha; she was a great character when she
would always respond with her direct putdowns, but now she's starting to become likable. I actually don't mind Gary on the radio anymore, as long as he
keeps the back-and-forth with Allison.

Yup - it was good, and it is important to keep Alison and Gary together in dialogue as much as possible.
LOL at Tommy reading Bridges of Madison County. |

I think this show is still having a major identity crisis. Regardless, it is still a fun show to watch despite the move to the radio station.

Slightly disappointed in last night's episode. I feel like they were running low on comedic elements, so they had to resort to body parts/toilet humor:
explosive diarrhea, gas, etc. But I still love the show, it doesn't get enough credit.

Agreed - not the best episode, but I love Jay Mohr and I love the chemistry and timing he has with Paula Marshall - highly underrated show. But I want them to
make up their minds as to who the secondary people are going to be, hopefully they leave it with the radio station people.

I love Gary Unmarried. These two do really well with each other. I hope this show sticks around for awhile. The kids are great too!
I like that he is working at the radio station and she is helping with the painting company. What else does she do during the day? I dont like the millionaire boyfriend. The old marriage counselor worked better. He had good chemistry with Jay. |

I've seen Paula Marshall in some other show. But I can't remember where.

prior to this show-i did not care much for Jay Mohr.....but this show has me cracking up every time!
don't know if it is just because of the writers or whatever-but now i find Jay entertaining and funny-good delivery! |

poclay wrote:This probably isn't where you recognize her from becasue she was so young... but she was on an episode of Seinfeld. She played the reporter who thought Jerry and George were gay (not that there's anything wrong with that). Great episode last night... I LOVED everything coming to a head on the front lawn... burning van, cop, teen parents, father losing his weed, ex-wife with rolling pin looking for her dress... it was a great moment. |
