The penalty gave the Gators the ball on the Arkansas 10-yard line, and they scored on the next play to tie the game at 20. Arkansas athletic director Jeff Long said Monday the school had expressed its concerns to the league. The league said schools can send in plays after each game for review. The SEC said it told Arkansas "there was no evidence on the video to support the personal foul penalty." It was the same group of officials that called the LSU-Georgia game earlier this month, which included a late unsportsmanlike conduct penalty the league said shouldn't have been called. |

1. Nice analysis managerr! Doesn't that prove how voters don't really follow who plays who? But I also don't think SOS over a full year is as
beneficial as what I call "up to the moment" or "UTTM." If a team wins it's first six games then loses it's next six, it has an
even record and SOS is "average" (not including opponents SOS). But isn't it more impressive to beat the team when it is 6-0 than when it was
6-5? The true strength was at the moment. What I'm getting at is the bcs RE-EVALUATES SOS each week so by the end of the season, a team's matchup has
actually CHANGED since when the game was played! This sucks royally IMO and is why I factor in UTTM into SOS and my rankings.
2. So, there's an SEC ref on the take! Wouldn't be the only time. Though I picked Florida there, Arkansas deserved to win and while I'm not as upset as some people here, I think someone should moon him when he goes to Mississippi next week (I think he does?) 3. Just a note, this week I get assigned to an ACC game I'm told. God I hope it's not cellar dwellers. |

BTW, this was the same Jeff Sagarin who, over a year ago, named the Redskins the top ranked team in the NFL. He also, in the list of top all time NCAA
