Don't forget TAR2 traveled by train from Cape Town to Langa. The locals said, "They will kill you...".

They to Langa Township in Israel TAR too, and had them do an even more disgusting version of the smiley (sp?) task, which makes it even worse the US version
doesn't go anywhere life-threatening anymore
TAR is supposed to be about people interacting with locals and exploring random areas of the country, not sitting in a sound studio throwing things at each other. |

I think TAR10 had the best tasks. They were all very physical. But the boring winners totally ruined everything

Which the equivalent are the same as the US version.

They need tasks which involve more problem solving, animals and locals throwing shit at the teams. They also need more physical tasks. Most of this
season's tasks so far have been lame.

I agree, most tasks have been lame... and each leg seems like it's 3 hours long... I want them to race for a longer time!!

there's zero challenge in these tasks.
1. take an elevator. 2. walk in the sand. 3. build a snowman. fuck you, amazing race. lamest season ever. |

Don't forget the another Dubai task back in season 5. Climb the city's scenic building, Burj al-Arab.

Is next week's waterslide the same one from TAR5?

I hate to say it, but this one might challenge Season 4, Episode 4 for laziest leg planning ever.
This episode was pretty much a remake of the leg on Amazing Race 5 when they went up to the top of Burj al-arab and then went off-roading in the desert area. It looks like they're going to Wild Wadi again, just like the subsequent episode in season 5. I also hate to say that Amazing Race Asia did Ski Dubai better. |

Yep, it looks as though the Race is heading back to Wild Wadi. The task looks exactly like the task the teams did in TAR 5 after the Dubai pit stop, just
before the teams went to New Zealand.
The water slide is called Jumeirah Sceirah. It is a speed slide that takes riders down a 33 meter (108 feet) slide at speeds of up to 80 km/hr (50 MPH). Is this the first time that a task has been duplicated in the same city on two different editions of the Race? |

still, repeats of tasks? Is the world not big enough for them to pick another water park? another market? another ff task that doesn't involve head
shaving? they really shouldn't repeat tasks ever imo, especially in the same locations.

I didn't think this episode was that bad in terms of tasks. What more do you fuckers want? Underwater basket weaving with Luke as a judge?

They get dropped off of a tower?
They take the easy 'splosions instead of dealing with the angry locals getting ready to go all Viking for old time's sake? And then, big finale: Something we've already seen? Involving hay bales? Awesome the first time around, but.... Dammit Bert, this time you had pissed off Vikings! |

as "easy" as it is to slide down a slide it still knocked a team out of the race.
