t's been a conjoined effort between Russell who knows how to gain attention (emulating the likes of Heidik, Herzog, Mariano, Cesternino, and Hatch-really no different than any of these guys)Actually, yeah. I'm not saying he is consciously thinking of those 5 guys, but each happened to have the right words to say in front of the camera and, while not all won, all did very well at least. Each of them had the attitude of "whoever I want to go will go because I am entitled". In all honesty, those are the people who are seen as the most assertive and therefore get things done. I wouldn't mind Russell winning unless he did something absolutely horrible (I'm not talking about the socks or canteens). However, I would not be interested in watching a repeat and see him do it again. One of the fun things about watching an All Stars season is seeing those who were never voted out being voted out in their second season in spite of their arrogance. |

I believe JP described Russ as "inherently evil" in the promos. So far all I've really seen is a bunch of confessionals where Russ toots his own
horn about his "running" the tribe, "messing with their minds" and attempting to "gain mind control" over his tribe. To me, the
only difference between Russ's confessionals and JFP, Rob C, Rob M.'s confessionals is that he hypes up how ruthless he is while the other
aforementioned kind of laughed at how they manipulated their tribe mates.
That being said, I have to say Russ is playing the game hard and his name has never been brought up (to this point) as a potential boot. However, I don't see him as "evil" more like HE wants to convince the viewing audience that he is "evil." Russ definitely has a self inflated view of his own evilness. LOL I can't help it every time he is in a confessional spouting off I think of that horrid little leprechaun that was the monster in one of the slash and gash movies what with his eye rolling and funny little hat. Make me laugh at him not fear him. |

final 2 twice and never winning.

I dont know what Russells thoughts would be on doing some other show besides Survivor. Just my opinion but he seems to love the attention of a camera with his
confessionals so he probably would like it. Sorta like Rob M. was.
