A scheduled double boot with an unscheduled medevac. They love pulling little "never been done before" pranks like that, and the schedule demands at least one double boot. Somewhere at some point missy said that both tribes attend TC after Russell leaves (he also said they don't boot anyone, but I'm finding that unlikely).

I'm just thinking that, considering the fact that they have already given us a two day round (Episode 3), then they're going to have at least one one-day double boot round, and Episode 6 is usually when something like that happens. It wouldn't be the first triple boot episode if you count Wanda, Jonathan, and Jolanda leaving in Episode 1 of Palau, though (and in that case, all three of them left due to the mechanics of the game, unlike a possible medevac/double boot combo).

I dunno, it seems pretty shitty to me, especially if FF was ahead at the time. I mean, i know someone got hurt and all, but they're still playing a game out there, and FF desperately needs a win. Or maybe they'll just say it was different because the challenge was already over when Mike got taken out. But if I was a FF, I'd probably be a little pissed about it now.

If what has been posted about happens (he goes into a seizure, extremely low blood pressure, unconscious and unresponsive), I can see them being so distraught that they decide to forgo the challenge. This might be a game but in a situation like that I'd imagine that all thoughts of game fly out the window. Plus I would guess that Galu might be so shaken up that they realize they won't be able to get their shit together enough to keep on playing and risk losing another person, so they opt out and take Russ as their loss.

Foa Foa goes first--no Jury for you! Then Galu goes, votes out Erik, and he becomes the first juror. Then they merge at 11, and Shambo flips. They skipped Tribal Council when Who? was evacuated from Tocantins, because with it being a F2, it would've cut them back an episode. This season, they can't cut any breaks.

The Contest ends at 8:00 PM ET on 12/13/09 or with the commencement of the East Coast broadcast of the final episode of Survivor: Samoa whichever is later ("Promotion Period"). End date is subject to scheduling changes." (Good thing they included that last bit). Also, theFutonCritic.com has a projected airdate schedule, and they had the finale on the same day, 12/13 Based on those two pieces of data (one of which seems considerably more official than the other), that's a 14-episode season, and for a finale that opens with the F5, they'd need to either do a double boot in some upcoming jury episode, or boot one person in this week's episode in which Russell S is removed. But that's not supported by any of the ads, which don't show any additional challenges. Also, on Friday in MeSS, Wezzie posted: "This is totally unconfirmed , but someone who goes to the finales told me yesterday that the date had been changed to the 20th." If that's true, then yes, no further boots in this episode, and there is an extra pre-merge episode next week to boot the final pre-merge person.

Ya know JT4ever you have this amazing knack of coming up with somethings with amazing accuracy, (like FatRuss's performance at last weeks IC) almost like you were there. How do you do that? If the editors stick to this same sequence for this episode, then the episode will end with 13 castaways, and episode 7 will end with 12 castaways, which leads us to E8, merge and jury. Or two people go home. And next week is the recap episode. Then the following would be the merge episode.
