I saw something on sucks quite long ago... one of the ep, late ep name is Some Day A jury will Cometh... So I'm guessing Russell H. either wins survivor samoa/all star/ or he may be the "jury" they are talking about, that never win

the only problem is that they need to work harder on their social games inorder to survive. that's not unfair.

So...like you say....they have to work harder....

Back to what people got mad at me about: Rupert was at least known....Alicia and Rich looked excited to see him....Russ no one knows. Why should they be allowed to know who/how everyone else is/plays and not him. Its not.

All they will know about Russell is that he did well and made it far enough along to be asked back. Everyone out there is a threat, they may be a bigger one if no one has an idea of how they played the game. Same thing with Amanda in Fans Vs Favorites. If my memory is correct about filming, no one really saw her China performance since like 3 episodes aired and then filming began in Micronesia and Rupert in Pearl Islands was barely known in ASS because only a few episodes aired before the cast left for filming. It seems like everyone gets to nervous with all the other players and how is a threat strategy wise or physically. If I were out there, I would be weary of the newcomer since i have no idea how they play the game. Everyone else can be somewhat predictable...

I don't like Russell but I don't see any reason it is unfair that the others don't know him. They can very easily vote him out whenever they want. It's not like he has automatic immunity because he's the newbie.

Exactly. Hell, they didn't see Amanda OR James. And for some fucktarded reason, they asked Amanda to return because...why? At least this tiem (hopefully), someone will actually take her out at Tribal Council. It'll be double the pleasure if Parvati turns on her <3333333333.

I'm not in love with Russell, but given that this current season is full of douchenozzles, he at least shines by being a cunning douchenozzle. I just hope he pulls an Amanda: Back-to-back runner-up rankings at TC. I don't agree with filming an All-Star season when players haven't been able to witness them OR know how far they've gotten. I would prefer that, in the future, they move All-Stars to the fall season, so that if Samoa and China, for example, were in the spring, it'd give everyone a chance to get accustomed to their gameplay before considering aligning with them.

the final 3 for s20 will be composed of 3 people who face the jury in their previous seasons (aka a winner or a runner up)

They don't have an equal chance. Survivor isn't football -- or even poker. People can gang up on Survivor.

The fact is that only certain, previous winners remotely have a chance. Parvati and Sandra are those two because no one really respects their games from their first go-rounds. JT and Tom and Rob (for all intents and purposes, Rob won before): People know they're dangerous. That doesn't equate to a level playing field. And if this boot order is correct, CLEARLY once again the big threats were eliminated early.

You can work your butt off, but it doesn't change the fact that the majority of people see you as a threat, and will still want to get rid of you. Call a spade a spade. Hatch could have talked until his mouth fell off on the first All Stars, and there's still no way he would have made the end game. Same with Tina.

Same with S20.

Any time they have a season with returning players, there will be players who have different advantages and disadvantages. It's just the nature of the game. Considering the way Russell plays the game (and the cameras), it's clearly an advantage for him that the people out there hadn't seen his season. Other people have other advantages. Oh well.

I'm not in love with Russell, but given that this current season is full of douchenozzles, he at least shines by being a cunning douchenozzle.

You have a very very sad idea of "cunning".

Um, it seemed to be pretty clear in the interview that she did know Russell, which was my point. Of course she is gonna pretend not to know him, since cbs doesn't want them to spoil anything.

Because they get popular Survivors that are near the EW studio--hence all the New York Survivors... Stephen, Eliza, Ethan, Jenna, Courtney... I wouldn't be surprised if they use Charlie or Brendan for future ones.

Fair enough. I just don't see any reason to believe Sandra would be a more likeable or preffered winner over Parvati to the viewers, be they fans or casual. In some ways all stars seasons are probably of more interest to the fans anyway, as they have more of a vested interest in the contestants, their deservedness or lack thereof, and the game's outcome. I would consider myself a fan of both Sandra and Parvati btw and would be fine with Sandra winning again as long as it's based on her gameplay as opposed to being considered the lesser of three evils or something like that.

SU said Sucks will like the winner not the "general" voting online public.

I think Russell is advantaged in that the rest of the crew don't know his style of play as they do others. And he is disadvantaged from coming from a what, 2 week break between seasons? That has to be physically grueling. Not a fan, but think it evens things out.

The advantages that I detest on the show are those relationships built outside the show and perhaps with interference from producers and how they were picked for the show..

The one thing that is lost on Survivor that I enjoyed most is that it is no longer '16 strangers' who compete. It's now 16 people who's agents know somebody with maybe a few strangers thrown in to placate the true Survivor fans.

She had a dominant Aryan alliance that would easily pick off the others before the producers decided to make every damn challenge suitable for Ozztard. Not to mention her brilliant alliance with Jenny and her total control of Nate. Didn't do much till the merge in Micro? Right, that's why she was in total fucking control pre-merge, with her showmance alliance and the core alliance with Cirie/Amanda. And then the girl goes and sets up an alliance with Natalie and Alexis <333. So smart.

Seriously, the bitter Parvati hatred from fat nerds is more sickening than the Parvati lovers.

As much as I think Parvati deserved the win in Micronesia, she did not control the pre-merge. Fairplay basically quit. Cirie stamped her feet so Yau-Man would go home. Parvati didnt see Tribal Council after Yau left till the merge. Jonathon and Eliza may have had a chance to take her and james out before the merge when Alexis had her little strategy session with them but it never materialized since Kathy quit and Penner was removed. Parvati got Eliza out but Ozzy's blindside was initially suggested by Cirie, Natalie tricked Jason into not playing the idol, Parvati and Amanda took out Alexis with the idol, Cirie got Natalie to trick Erik into giving up Immunity, and Natalie was just picked off since Amanda, Cirie, and Parvati thought they were facing a F3. It was Amanda's decision to take Parvati too the end. Overall, Parvati socially played the right people and strategically eliminated all her enemies. Parvati played the flirt until she could tell who was going to trust her or help her and eliminated everyone else. But she did not control the Pre-Merge at all since she was Tribal twice till the merge.

Parvati did almost have the game won in the Cooks, but please tell me 1 power play move that she made in the entire game? thats right there was none, her alliance with Nate did nothing for her but get her kicked off because Nate that it would be good to form an alliance with Ozzy, and causing Raro to make the decision to get rid of Yul instead of Ozzy, Jenny and her didnt have much of a tight alliance, if any Raro deserved to win it was Candice for being such a bad ass and switching tribes, putting herself in a power position. And in Micro she didnt control anything premerge, like another poster said, Johnny Fairplay quit, Cirie controlled getting rid of Yau, and on her tribe Jonathan was med evaced and Kathy quit. After the merge I gave her credit for.

And Fat nerd? ha actually the people that dislike Parv are the good looking ones that just feel that she created a stereotype for good-looking people. its the fat losers that love parv cause they want to be her or they want to fuck her and have no chance in hell.
