Very true seltzer.
But I think they'll think Loraine's dish was more egregious. And yet I still want Robin to leave. She drives me CRAZY with the camera focusing on her nonstop yapping. I can't imagine having to hear it in person!!! |

I'm glad that Ash got booted, but that makes me even more mad that Ashley got booted the week before. What was the point of sparing Ash over Ashley, when
you know that he was going to be in the bottom again the following week?

judges want.

I would have been fine with any of those three being booted. With Restaurant Wars next week and Laurine and Robin apparently on different teams, one will get a
pass from the bottom. From the preview they both look to have "easy" parts, so the one on the losing team will be the one to go probably.
Eli will be final 5 at the very least, I think he will be the one to slide into a higher slot if there is an earlier surprise boot among the bros, Jen and Kevin. |

When it came down to it, everything that was fundamentally wrong with the dishes came down to Ashley and Michael. Eli did fuck up by over-salting the gnocci but the bigger problem were the raw prawns. Ash did nothing but he didn't overcook the fish or ask to put ravioli on top of it. Between Ashley and Michael, I don't think the judges or the producers were ready to give up either brother. This season will only get (marginally) more interesting if one of the four leaves in a surprise elimination, making anyone susceptible to lose. |

It really should have been between Eli/Ash, two of the guys who did jack, and just let their partner do everything. Season 4 they axed Manuel instead of Spike because of that reasoning. I think Top Chef just likes to choose when it comes to complete douchebag vs. nice but harmless, they would axe the harmless. -While it is interesting that one of the four leaves...it actually just makes it more predictable who will win. At least when it comes down to the final 4, it would be a pretty intense final. Its more interesting when you have people rise up to the challenge (S1- Dave S3-Sara M, Casey S5 Carla, S6 Ashley for a bit) to make things more competitive...not so much wierd freak accident in which the frontrunner chokes, because while interesting has some sucky results (Stefan and Carla choking in the finale, Antonia going over Lisa, Richard choking in the finale). |
