I am wondering too if Tracey Thoms is gone- I haven't seen anything online about her leaving- I hope she is not gone.

That's good. This ensemble is underrated and I'd hate to see them breaking up the band.
I guess CC's now committing to having backstories running consistently through this season -- something they always suck at doing. To that end, somebody remind me how the weasel uniform guy got to be the new over-lord of the squad. Was he a graduate of the military academy or something, maybe buddies with the Baldwin brother (as opposed to LaPaglia brother, thx for the correction above) who tried to kill Lil? This could get tiresome really quickly. We need a good ep with a seriously good musical tie-in. |

Was it on last week? I know everything ran late because of sports, so I taped it and it is not on my tape- so I either screwed up or it was not on.

I think they are showing last weeks episode this Sunday, it should be on time because I think CBS only has the early game.

He went to get out of the car after she pulled over, she hit him over the head with the bottle and she used his money to buy the headstone- Agreed about the soundtrack |

Yeah that was as good of a CC ep as ever made. I think I bitched sometime recently about them needing a good musical tie-in and whoa did they deliver!
I kind of doubt that girl had the physical strength to kill him, but that's fine. The sequence with the kid directing the ensemble was awesome! |

that was the rub about that episode - the knock to the head that she could deliver no way would've killed him.

Do they not have CC episodes to watch online?

Nope, CC's almost impossible to find. They haven't even released season 1 on DVD after all this time. My bet is that ironing out all of the licensing
issues for the music as part of the release is what's keeping it back. Too bad -- you'd think they would've thought about this at some point over
the past six years.
Even on torrents, I'm still trying to find a complete version of the finale from two seasons ago, which my DVR missed. sugarsmummy wrote:Good lord did you not pay attention?! That wasn't Detroit's Motown, but Philly Soul! Much more embroidered and lush than the Motown sound: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philadelphia_soul Think about the O'Jays vs. Motown stalwarts such as The Supremes or the Four Tops, even early Stevie Wonder and The Jackson 5. Of course, Motown later adapted the Philly sound and wove it into its own groove -- later Stevie Wonder and if you don't have a copy of Marvin Gaye's What's Going On, run out and buy it ASAP -- in some ways Motown's best response to the development and a masterpiece regardless. The reason I loved that sequence of the kid conducting the ensemble so much is that it showed him going all "add horns, add backings" -- that was basically like listening to Elvis' Sun sessions. A simple TV police procedural managed to film a new style of music being born, and nailed it. Well done, CC, VERY well done! I'm so glad they held off showing this ep last week when no one would've seen it due to the NFL delay. The more I think about this, this was the best ep in the past two seasons, the cause of death being the chick clunking him in the head to one side. |

They reair Cold Case on TNT like three times a day. They cycle through the series. I think the morning cycle is currently on Season 4 and the afternoon cycle
is currently on Season 2.. so if you missed one, you can always catch it that way...
