His restaurant is in San Francisco. (Do you live there? You should go to Iluna Basque and get a red scarf for $2! Proceeds go to charity!) I think Laurine is from SF too, but she's a total bore on the show.

HUNG is a G.O.D. He is an awesomely talented chef. You coold tell when he was pissed off. He really didn't like that they were shoving him in an "Asian" direction. How happy was he when they all got to cook for the French chefgods? NO WAY was he a villian, just a lottle cocky and abrupt. TWO REALLY BAD WINNERS and I don't know who I hate more: Ilian or Josea. Altho Josea was never really "douchey" to anyone, his personality was GRATING and BORING at the same time. Ilian: UGH, UGH, UGH. He can shove some saffron up his ass. I still don't know how this liitle freak won.

He obviously was entertaining, because the other cheftestants said he always made them laugh and was great to hang around with and they even all put on a red kerchief to honor him after his premature boot. Next time I make it out to San Fran, I am going to see if I can get a reservation at Mattin's restaurant. The only thing that will save this season for me is a home girl JEN win. She must beat out the brothers & Yukon C. (the only competition). Michael has shown numerous times he is the inferior brother, even though he has the biggest ego with his 1 Michelin Star. Not to be a brokern record, but I am all geared up for this week's epi, hoping to see Jen and Cornelius do well. I am waiting to see the peanut gallery (Laurine, Eli, Mike Greek) come unglued at some point soon. They seem to be gearing up for a meltdown. Ash seems ready for a "whatever" boot. Robyn must end up being Top 5 just to watch the peanut gallery dissolve into hysterics.
