Yeah, when I saw the poster with "Why so serious" written in blood and a blurry image of the Joker in the background, I thought it was one of the
coolest posters for a movie I've ever seen. And then I see all the rave reviews (I'm sure it's probably in the top 15 on IMDB), I was even more
excited.
And then, I see it. A boring action flick with a whole bunch of ridiculous scenarios. Hell, the first damn scene, the Joker drives the bus out of the bank with smoke and debris all over it, and the cops who are just arriving drive on by. Even the Joker was horribly overrated. A few times he was brilliant, but mostly he was over the top. |

I think it's pretty clear they wanted to make him a sinister Joker. Heath Ledger's Joker had no sense of humor. Which is fine by me, but by over the
top I mean it just felt exaggerated. He was trying too hard.
My favorite part is when he sits down (dressed as a nurse) next to Harvey Dent and just says "hi". He delivers it perfectly. Although I guess part of it is the stupid script. I just think he could have played it a lot better. |

But if you can take the movie on its own, completely disassociating the book, then I think it is a great movie. That said, a Starship Troopers movie truly based on the book would be great. |

There is a King of Fighters movie on the works and I was so pissed off that a Caucasian guy will play Kyo Kusonagi. He was freaking true blue Japanese with the iconic Asian haircut and a White guy will play him. On adaptations of Stuffs with Asian male protagonist, Hollywood always give the roles to Whiteguys. |

I second whoever said Maggie Gyllenhall in Dark Knight....such a haggish face...it's upsetting. How is she landing such prime roles???
Also, Renee Zellwegger in just about anything she's been in, but mostly Chicago....Hated her in Chicago, and it truly just about ruined the movie for me... |
