this seasons sucks. that article is spot on. she is a very astute lady. but there is also another reason. the budget was cut 20% on the show. that is why they shot the two seasons back to back. to collateralize costs. that is what they will have to do from now on. location as idea. then theme as idea. they won't send crew home and save money. but they also have cut the crew down. probably and this is a guess-- down-graded the camera studs they used to have to less experienced ones, cut down on camera crews all together, on art department, hence the combo challenges and the baci ball bullsh-t. cut down on editors. was it only me that had no idea who that guy who found the idol was last night? wasn't it all just yawn-worthy? i think it's because they have less footage and less editors. this just feels under-budgeted compared to the past. next season will have players we all know so it should be better.... let's hope.
