I don't think that could possibly have been better.
The entire last scene, the dancing, the editing between the church and the boat, was as good as television or film can offer. It should win every award it could possibly earn.
That being said, I don't know if I loved that scene more than the scene before it where Pam's moaning about her veil and Jim just grabs a pair of scissors and cuts off his tie. That should go down in the annals of our culture as one of the sweetest moments in any romance.
The entire series, for the most part, has been just one long string of "best episode ever", each one being better than the last. It's going to be pretty hard to top this one. It should have been the finale.
"I bought those boat tickets the day I saw that Youtube video. I knew we'd need a backup plan. The boat was actually Plan C. The church was Plan B. And Plan A was...marrying her a long long time ago."
The Office never fails to disappoint me and this was a fantastic episode that had me laughing and by the end getting a little misty-eyed. The episode played out beautifully.
We got to see more of the Dwight being inexblicably attractive to normal women outside of Scranton and him acting so above it all.
Michael getting pulled into Pam's mom's room at the end. OMG, I can't wait to see what happens next on that little encounter.
I am a HUGE Andy fan and he was in great form last night and I love the thing developing between him and Erin. I'd love to see them slowly become the new Jam 2.0. The torn scrotum was hilarious. <3 Erin for caring about Andy's penis <3
