Possible spoilers on Ashley's longevity in the game?

They all have to stay in Loser Lodge or Ponderosa until filming has ended. The only exception I've ever heard of was when Tanya Vance's father died and they let her go home to participate in the funeral and stuff like that.

As much as I remember/know: (and i'm not 100%) For S8 they took half the premerge boots and sent them on a trip and the others sent then somewhere else I think till the merge when they always keep the Jury together Pretty much all other seasons they just send the premerge boots around the island and whatnot....like a vacation at club med from what I understand....

Posts: 1990 (10/06/09 12:41 AM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	All the Pre-Jury people get sent somewhere else (not on the island) for the duration of the filming, either in groups of about three people, or as one big group. If it's the latter, they stay at Ponderosa till the last pre-jury boot and then go to their destination to wait out the rest of the filming. I think Cecelia talked about it when she was posting here. I know a poster here said that Tina, Rudy and (I think) Hatch were spotted mountain climbing in Patagonia after they were booted from ASS, so that gives you an idea of the kind of place they were sending people. But because they often film in places close to Australia, they've been coming here a lot, and not to remote places. Some of them went to Noosa - a resort beach town on the Sunshine Coast here - and two of them managed to bypass their minders and find an Internet Cafe to check spoilers, heh. The other exception was Jenna M when her Mum died. I know that threw us in the Spoiling world, cause there were strong rumours that she was cast for ASS but was at her mother's funeral half way through filming.
