Eeep! How many hours until Top Chef airs? This has been a very long two weeks. Based on editing, I think we are supposed to be very sick of the brothers and that we're supposed to see Mike Greek as an arrogant fool. Kevin is getting the UTR edit. Jen totally rocks. I am way too biased in her favor just for the girl chef kicks boy chefs be-hinds story arc, so I have no idea how her performance will play out. I have just been laughing at Mike Greek for underestimating Jen and overestimating himself in 2 or 3 statements he's made that the editors featured. Blah, blah, blah. Roll the damn tape, already! I am assuming we just pick off fodder for the next 3 or 4 weeks, but maybe the editors are trying to build some suspense in the mean time. Maybe we'll get a shocking boot. We'll soon see. *Taps foot* *Looks at watch*

I saw loud annoying Greek Mike leaving his restaurant in DC the other night =o

He is SHORT. Besides that I don't like him so I didn't bother saying anything to him.

Gracias, mrsbennet! Halloween's coming up, so I thought I'd give a shoutout to the greatest book that blends zombies with classic literature. :) You really should read it, liquid. It's awesome! I still need to go out and buy Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters though it looks quite delightful.

Strange decision to get rid of one of the few memorable chefs over two duds and the chef who screwed up the most in the challenge (Michael).

I can't stand the contestants this season. I'm not sure why they cast so many monotone, dull people.

At least this cements Jen in the finale, and probably the win since they need a female winner and Ashley was the only option outside of her. I think with a girl going this means that a few guys need to go (fodder ash/eli) which buys Robin a few more weeks, especially if she can outlast Borerine. My dream is she makes final 6 with being a MOTRGODDESS. The Brothers/Kevin/Jen/Mike final 5 seems rather inevitable.

ROFL @ The Brothers Grimm! Nevertheless, I would still love me some Cream Di Voltaggio. Looks like they get into a slap fight next week -- Fun!

I was in DC last weekend and saw an article about Bryan's restaurant in Maryland called Volt and that he is one of the best new chefs in DC and blah blah blah. Where does Greasy The Greek work? I don't know of any high class Greek restaurant in DC.

I agree with everyone that there is too much gutter fodder this season! There are way too many mediocre chefs and a few outstanding ones -- yet we have to sit through weeks of shows waiting for them to chisel away the novices before the real competition can begin. Put another way -- so long as 'narrator of the obvious' Robyn is there, it still is cast-trimming and not a competition.

OMG. I totally thought Ash was going home. Why did they keep him in when he basically admitted he was a sub-par chef? >_< UGH. What did he contribute to the dish?? Did he say something about washing paintbrushes??? Huh???

At least Ashley has produced some good food. I was just starting to like her.. totally robbed. I almost teared up with Jen. I didn't bawl like I did for Mattin though...

More Eli vs Robin next week. I hope she lets that gross, disrespectful no-neck monster have it.

Go figure of the bottom 4, the one I wanted to stay, ends up leaving.

Man Eli should have left. Way to take a backseat dude. Its wierd that Ashley is leaving, because now there is a bigger gap between the top 4 (Jen, the brothers, and Kevin) vs everyone else. Ashley was the biggest darkhorse coming into this episode. The funny thing is that the other middle of the pack (Eli) also took a big hit as well.
