It was clear from the full interview that she's still devoted to science. She just isn't devoted to going back to working 7 days a week for very
little pay in an underground lab surrounded by zero people and lots of rats...even if it's at the very prestigious CalTech.
ETA: She apparently took too much time off to go back to her old job anyway so she's now forced to find something new. Hopefully, she'll find some other way to use her science background in the short term and in the longterm will get back to her postdoctoral work. Not doing so would be like running 24 miles out of a marathon and then calling it quits. Regardless, I wish her the best and happiness.

She is a lab rat that runs experiments for the actual neuroscientists. She isn't the HBIC. I doubt she ever will be. |

SA, better as in pay and balance of work to life. That would be VERY EASY to get. Seriously. A high school science teacher works less for more pay. My sister
did cancer research for a Nobel prize winner and didn't have a life or much of a paycheck either, though she loved that it was for a good cause. Still, she
ended up being much happier and richer working for a pharmaceutical company...

I know Michele was working to publish, but her salary was crap. My Goddaughter just has her BA in neuroscience, going for her masters now, and she's making over 3 times Michele's salary working in a lab with monkeys. Luckily, just studying their memory, teaching them to "speak" with tools and symbols, nothing medical or violent. I think Michele can find another job pretty easily with a PhD in Neuroscience. Unfortunately, she may have stars in her eyes here and expect to get a TV science for kids show, or something like that, out of it, and I don't think she is well-spoken enough for that, or that many get gigs from Big Brother. If she gives up on the whole publishing side of Neuroscience, she can probably find better hours and more money elsewhere, teaching, pharmas, or some related field. I do applaud the interviewer for honestly trying to get people to ask her some new questions. He wasn't great, but he was trying. |

I think the separation was Michele's decision tbh. he seemed to still love her during the season even after she said she had a crush on Jeff and crying
over Russell and the sex stories she told on the feeds bc he did the CBS "family" interview that aired during Jeff's eviction. (you can tell it
was very recent to Jeff's eviction episode, since they showed him reacting to her crying in the GR after Russell's eviction.) He was very honest about
his feelings and how much it hurt him to see her mistreated. Also, she doesn't seem as crushed as someone who got dumped would be as she has been out
partying and has continued with her interviews and sounded like she is fine.
She said they had problems before the show and i think after the show she found a new confidence in herself and she wanted to change her lifestyle, so she separated from her husband. I don't think it has anything to do with what she did inside the house, since he clearly still loved her from what Tim said in interviews and stuff. Whatever made her come to her decision, i hope she is happy. She sounds like she will be OK. NeuroGoddess <33333333. |

But it's the old double standard thing. If a woman cheats, she's a whore and have some kind of mental problem ect. Who hasn't got some kind of me mental or emotional problem. But if someone like old David Letterman cheats, no one calls him any names; everybody supports him. |

Michele's mental issues have nothing to do with the game. Serena is right, Michele has been a reject her whole life and is relishing in her new
D-list status. She's so desperate to be popular/famous/cool that even if it means turning on her husband, family, or friends, she's more than willing
to do so.
