I'll have ratings up someday soon, but I submitted what I have so far.

I think a few select posters need to take rejection of their ideas a little less serious. We all have our opinions and have the right to make them, but when you put them out there we all know exactly what can happen: people disagree. If I think your winner pick of Liz or Monica is silly, I'm going to say that it's sillyand explain why I think it's silly. It's not a personal attack: that's how you debate.

It's give and take. It's not "You are an unintelligent person and deserve to be killed, you insecure sack of shit"; criticism of an idea is a criticism of THE IDEA, not the person. I feel that some people are greatly offended when people say that they are wrong: it's OK to be wrong, or for someone to think that you're wrong. No need to respond with "O M G you are an ass you are so mean to me I can't give any ideas without being told I'm worthless! I'm throwing my hands up, Jesus take my wheel I can't handle it!! Stop ruining my life you pompous prick!" The people who whine back are the ones that start the fight: if someone disagrees with them, they get upset and fire back some nasty comments, so naturally the disagreer is going to defend themselves against the character attacks (e.g. you're condescending, you're a bully, you're close-minded).

In the end we all do this for fun, and if you can't handle the heat of a large number of heated individuals then maybe you should stay out of the kitchen--but if you can handle it, and I think anyone with a secure self and strong opinion should handle it, then please stay!

This topic has been discussed for far too long for far too many seasons: if you can't handle people not agreeing with everything you say then maybe you shouldn't stay. Edgic is not for the faint of heart.

Also, I'm not a big fan of the "O M G I cannot believe the official chart gave Russell an OTT that is fuckign OUTRAGEOUS you fools, you idiots!" Go by your own chart as your chart--the official chart just shows our general consesus. Just something I'd like to add..

Thank you for not responding with "fuck you" or "listen here you piece of shit". I agree that my disagreeing can be borderline, but I get frustrated easily, what can I say? It's not fun being told you're condescending or ignorant all the time, especially when it's so far from the truth. I suppose certain people uphold certain levels of intensity when they debate.
