Um... no. Have you seen their contract? They MUST go to all press interviews related to the show. If they dont they would lose their stipend and be blacklisted by cbs and viacom. I doubt the little money she would save by going on a family trip would be worth all that. If anything she would be losing way more by not doing the press circuit. I know that it was her excuse that the plans were already made but since she did not express any anxiety about the weighty decision between being blacklisted and going on the vacation I would say she is safe the next few weeks. but then again... who knows?
Sorry, I should have been more clear. I didn't meant that she would miss the post-boot stuff for the cruise, I was just referring to someone wondering why she would schedule a vacation for so soon after she got back from Samoa. I do agree that if she's still planning on going, she probably would not be voted off the show during the time frame that she will be gone.
