Very interesting, thanks.
It looks like the challenge is designed for 5 vs. 5. I think. With one person inside the ball, 2 blindfolded people holding the ball, and 2 blindfolded people at the puzzle table, the producer says, "We've decided to have 2 people pushing, 2 people waiting up here to help upright. And then all 4 must be guided to the table, where the puzzle is." But how do you know the challenge is airing on October 22nd for a fact? If that is the case, then a tribe shuffle has to happen before that challenge. 'Cause assuming no evacs or double boots, there would be 14 castaways left going into that show. And without a shuffle, Foa Foa could be down to 4 members going into that challenge. |

Ah, okay, I didn't see it mentioned on the site.
Then it's a definite spoiler for some sort of tribe swap/shuffle before that challenge |

Looks like Jeff and Lilly from a knock off Survivor reality show "Endurance" are a part of the dream team as well. The challenge looks cool though.

Thanks again. Dalton Ross bugs, so I avoid his blog, although I do watch his boot interviews.

They have to stop the challenge because someone faints during it.
And since it's run 5v5 we can probably count on one Foa Foa and one Galu leaving by the 22nd. |

That "we've decided" sounds like they could have just as easily decided to do the same challenge with some different component of people. |

That "we've decided" sounds like they could have just as easily decided to do the same challenge with some different component of people.True, but they apparently say "we've decided" at the end of running several round of simulations, which seemed to involve a fair amount of labor. Since they sounded satisfied with 5, it doesn't sound likely that they'd switch the number spontaneously, especially as it would involve running at least one more round of simulations. |

EW Magazine companion piece to the video, written by challenge producer John Kirhoffer.
Noteworthy: By the time the actual contestanst played the game, it worked beautifully - until unrelated dehydration caused one of our players to collapse and Jeff Probst had to stop the challenge to get the person immediate medical attention (see what happens Oct. 22 on CBS). So, after all that, we never even got to see "Roll With It" play through to completion.

Thanks VG! As always giving us the information first.
So our other medvac is probable for Oct 22, and it sounds like this is the one that 'scares Jeffy'. The person must not have come to quickly after succumbing to dehydration. Let the speculation begin on who collapses. One thing I was going to add: I believe that as they upped the number of players to 20 to include the alternates, I think they adjusted the numbers of players going to each challenge. I don't remember many challenges where both teams were sitting out more than one or two players. The last challenge had 5? people sitting out.

Sounds like it is the RC, since they didn't finish the challenge.

If the challenge never ran to completion, then the "medical attention" must have ruled the player unfit to continue, and out of the game.
The spoiler about Russell S. getting medevaced within the next few episodes claimed it was because of an old injury. So does this mean someone else get medevaced in addition to the Russell injury? Or was the spoiler somewhat misinformed about the cause of Russell's evacuation? Or does Russell even get evacuated? And it could be the IC. The spoiler claims there was no TC on the "week" Russell was taken out. |

Or it could just mean missyae was full of crap and Russell doesn't get medicaved. We'll see though.

The 22nd is E6, right?
I'd agree that just because they didn't finish the challenge doesn't mean it's RC. Probst could have made a ruling that the team who was now short a player was the loser. Which is a little mean, but once they saw whoever wasn't going to die, that's the breaks. Even for immunity challenge, if the evacuee was one of the numerous Galu, they could have felt very comfortable sending them on to tribal council. (On the show it might look like Probst just makes a snap call about how to proceed, but I feel sure really there was quite a passage of time, plenty for everyone to get over any concern about the person, and start thinking about the game.) |

Does Russell S. get medivacced before or after his tribe votes him out for selecting the blankets? ETA - Tongue planted in cheek.
