Again like Dave/Erik, her positive comments from Jeff balance out the lazy yoga comment. Monica - UTRN1 - Negativity was all we got from her with the yoga scene. Not good for her that she doesn't have a confessional defending yoga being good for them, just negative SPV from Shambo and Foa Foa. Seriously? Jeff's challenge commentary gets her out of N territory, while Monica, WHO WASN'T EVEN FUCKING IN THE YOGA SCENE, gets an N despite a positive fluff confessional that Kelly didn't get. and you accused me of playing favorites.

She has no use for bonding, looks down on yoga, bitches about engineering guys who want to discuss how to build instead of just doing it. Laura - the yoga leader, is the middle-aged Republican conservative, lol. We saw lots of Colby bitching about Koror being lazy, and look how that turned out.

This week, Galu got more airtime (though not by much), and Monica/Laura certainly can't be equated to John, Erik, and Dave. I still think Kelly is INV1. Yasmin is very debatable. CTON... you could be right, I'll watch it a second time. I could definitely see a M rating for Monica. I just recall every time a negative, club med comment was made, they cut to Monica laughing it up.

He was forced into a position to begin with. Typically his scene had to be shown: MOR. BUT instead, he gets several follow-up confessionals explaining his choice in detail and actually making a case for why he did it. Good intentions all the way. Looking out for the tribe. INTENTION: positive. Unfortunately, we get the Nspv from all the guys explaining as to why it was a horrible choice, resulting in a M tone overall. CP2M please? As for "Club Med", I think the edit was more so explaining Shambo's position in the tribe and not so much explaining individual edits from members of Club Med. It's worth noting that they have negative tone, but all of them receiving an N would be sort of weird, especially when once again, we get a confessional explaining their behavior (courtesy of Laura). Keep up the good work guys. I miss this place a lot! eta Since midterms HELL is over, I actually have like ten minutes before I have to go to bed so I can add some other insight ^_^ Foa Foa - Our winner is here. I don't know how they're going to do it, but I just feel it. 1) You can't eliminate Mick, just because you can never eliminate a Marcus type. haha 2) Russel I feel like you can't eliminate him. If he won/lost, he'd be getting the SAME EXACT EDIT as he is currently. It's going to be tricky deciphering him, but I'd look for the points where Russel begins to receive doubt about his winner chances. When that happens, and big boss Russel is in peril but somehow survives, then we've got a winner. But I seriously doubt this is going to be the cake walk that the editors have led us to believe. 3) Ashley is just there by default. I guess she has decent numbers and decent exposure, but I feel like we haven't gotten to know her yet. There's a chance for her to pick up however, and it's good that she hasn't been the main focus on this tribe. 4) I feel as though he's going to become a distraction soon. I could see him going from OTTP to UTR! OTTN to OTTM then INV1 in only a Bruce-kinda fashion! 5) Liz and Natalie have no shot since they've had very little exposure on a tribe that has had ALL of the airtime. If anyone were to possibly win from Galu, it's be Laura or Russel or MAYBE Shambo...But my gut tells me that Shambo is sorta like Coby. On the power tribe not fitting in and just bitching about whoever gets on her nerves at whatever time (first the guys are stupid for planning and now the yoga group is stupid for doing pillates)! I'm not disputing it, I just think it's funny they chose to go that route. They were exercising/having a good time but were indisputably N. I'm gonna see my brother tomorrow. He always does yoga. Everything just enhance that little one-ep story arc. It had ZIP to do with Ben's edit.

And if you could read the thread, you'd see I made a mention that it was my mistake to include her in the yoga scene, but she was lumped into the club med group, viewed as negative by Erik and Shambo. I made a mistake, acknowledged it, and took care of it already. You decided to blow it out of proportion and talk about me playing favorites? You are still including Monica, who now is eliminated IMO. She's basically Erinn part 2.

I'm not saying his reaction wasn't out of line, but it's not completely unwarranted. On another note, Blake, I pretty much 100% agree with all you wrote here: Some ratings I definitely will push: Jaison- OTTP5, he was the force against Ben, the hero against Russell H's boot order Mick- CP4, rewatch every confessional, very insightful and perfect for his winner chances--finally getting complex.. hopefully he gets a 2-visibility next week as he needs some cool-off, and Russell didn't say anything about him being "stupid" like he did with everyone else, also learned he's not outdoorsy from Ben Kelly- INV1, um you aren't UTR because Jeff says 3 words in a challenge and reads the treemail--there is no manipulation there and we learned nothing about her character this episode Brett was also INV1 Erik, John, Dave got a confessional so they are saved and are UTR1 (maybe P for Erik but likely not) Laura and Monica are also UTR, but is Laura N? Not sure... Shambo was definitely CPP, we learned her strategy and saw her implementing it and it was working (they all love her); got viewed as a player rather than an OTTP heroine, she should be in everyone's Top 2 contenders with Mick right now Ben was OTTN, of course (was he NN?) Regarding "fantards", they are arguing over how it is unfair to give Monica an N and not give some other non-entity an N and it's so silly, it's like these people are fighting tooth and nail for the sanctity of a player. It's not like a child will die. It's edgic not tone-based-fan-fighting. GO START A FAN CLUB!! My favorite is probably Laura because she's hilarious in confessionals (Insider, too) but she probably will end up getting an N from me. It's called being objective about your ratings, not biased. I think one poster in here specifically gets way too caught up in fighting for UTR-people ratings (and is vicious about it) because they got a screenshot of their head tilted at a 43 degree angle, and any acute angle means the editors are making them a"cute" so that means P... or something to that extent. Oh and I'm in panic mode about Mick. Based on Insider he never told his tribe that he was a doctor... would they show a winner using that strategy? Maybe, but has any Survivor winner hidden their profession?

I agree it didn't have to do with Ben's edit, but I do think that the edit was as much about her not fitting in as it was about her being right. The editors will always make fun of people who do yoga, and they love people like Shambo who are supposedly more down to earth, but they have also given her negative, dumb moments like losing a piece of the snorkel, which could have been left out. It's also interesting that even with her edit of finding new friends, most of those friends, like Russell H, are generally unpleasant. So her new friend is the villain of the season. Maybe I'm just tired of this type of personality on Survivor but I can't really find her sympathetic, especially when she brings problems on herself, losing things, not wanting to socialize, complaining.
