I'm off of Y&R for now. This whole Colleen being killed off is just such a bad move. Seriously, Y&R is keeping Lily, Mac, JT, Cain, Devon, Deacon, and Amber around? Boring characters who for the most part have no history to this show are still breathing while Colleen is being killed off? Her heart is going to Victor? That's effing stupid. A young 20 year old girl's heart is going to a man 3 or 4 times her age? Dumb.

I'm pretending that Colleen is just moving back to New York. Seriously, she's the last biological tie to both Brad and Traci on the canvas. Traci we hardly see (but it's gold when we do). Colleen also was one of two young teens who actually stood up to Victor and were interesting when they did it (Billy being the other one). With a recast Colleen, we could have had interesting people play into the whole feud against Victor and the boring Newman clan. But no, she's being killed off.

Seriously, this Mary Jane/Patty storyline is ruining characters. Victor's responsible for Colleen's death by bringing Patty back, Jack is not coming off/out of this looking to good either. Paul looks even dumber than normal for not turning in Patty when he had the chance. (Sanctuary? At a church? In this day and age?) Also Heather is stupid for going along with the sanctuary angle, and as a DA should be fired. I liked Heather before, but not anymore. Also too Gloria and Will and even Jill have blood on their hands. I defended Glo with her whole putting cleaner in the lotion debacle. But this time, she's honestly at fault and played a role leading to CC's death. As too did Will and Jill. (Seriously, get rid of William. His character is just not interesting). Also Bubbles looks heartless maneuvering for her ex to get a heart from the Abbotts. She looks even worse hitting on him/confessing love to him when the abbott's are deciding what to do.

So instead of future scenes of Colleen and Billy going up against both Victor and Jack and bringing in a more energetic generation of corporate storylines (Victoria and Nick being upset at Victor is just tired and old), we'll be having Cain coo to Lily about having kids someday with her. Gah!

Also too, besides my being upset over Colleen's death I'm also upset about the baby switch story. How dumb can people be? Seriously, the Gyno diddled Skye and other female patients unwillingly, and is willing to go along in months of cover up to make a woman believe she's pregnant as well as risk kidnapping charges? Skye is dead, it would be hard to prove her accusations. Gah, I'm busy with work and with school, and Y&R has gone into the crapper on so many levels all at once. I just can't enjoy it enough to watch it.

Please keep up the great summaries Will and Tigernama, and let me know if when Lauren and Traci have a heart to heart, or Chloe stands by Billy while Billy rails against the Newmans. Or when Phyllis comes back. Until then, I'll be following along on the sidelines.
