His beard is a lot more pronounced in the scene where he finds the idol than it was at the first Tribal Council. He probably did find it while Yasmin was at camp. She might have been on another part of the beach or away doing a confessional at the time, though. And before you start to bitch, Survivor has always played around with the sequence of events like that. no im not gonna bitch. if thats the case my entire point is invalidated.

They likely planted it there the day before since they were giving out a clue that day or the next. And it DOES make sense to have it there before a clue is given out. An idol has been at camp at least 5 times that I can count - the other times it was at Exile Island. There is no Exile Island- so it must be at camp. I am sure production figured someone would think of this and look ahead of time. Unfortunately, only one person did that.

Posts: 2686 (09/26/09 4:08 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I don't know if he was coached, but like SJ said in another thread, a smart enough person could do enough cold reading of the production assistants who ask the questions in the confessionals to get an idea of where the idol is. He could have simply said something like, "I think it's in a tree," noted a raised eyebrow or a flinch, and gotten the hint to look there. But even without that, I'm a big enough fan of the show to remember where they've hidden all the Hidden Idols. Guatemala's was in a tree, Fiji's third idol (the one Earl found) was in a hole in a tree, Micronesia's idol was at the base of a tree, and Gabon's idol was in a tree. Russell may be a douche but he's also someone who is clearly a fan of the show (or at the very least payed close attention to the seasons he was given by production). It's not rocket science to go looking at unique trees or rocks for the idol as soon as you get to camp.

I mean really I remember a survivor when someone looked under placards or something ina shelter and found one .. I dont think they had any clues yet so when clues came in ..that idol was already in play .. I may be wrong on this as memory is not the best and I cant remember what season ... but Im pretty sure thisn has happened before eh
