I'm curious to see how this plays out. You'd figure after 19 seasons they'd have thought everything out so something like this could be avoided. Guess not.

Probst was merely saying that the clues aren't the same for the two camps (meaning that Yasmin can't go back to Galu and look in trees, because her clue was strictly for the idol at Foa Foa). The idol is good for whoever uses it, though.

And as 20 other people pointed out- it would have come with a note saying he could not use it if he couldnt use it.

WHY it is so hard to believe that Russell simply watched those seasons and figured they did the same thing this season, poked around camp (they showed him looking around the water source) and found the idol? It's not his fault the others were too dumb to figure this out. And frankly, it says a lot about the rest of the tribe if he's the only one that figured this out. Fuck- even the goddamn rocket scientist isn't looking!

Is it China? Exactly. It was in plain sight in China. Anyone with 1/2 a brain should have looked around camp for the idol. It just so happens that the pig raper thought of it first. The rest of his tribe (and the other tribe that isn't even LOOKING) should be ashamed. There is no exile island- so where else would the idol be??

Actually, it's pretty easy to tell based on facial hair growth that Russell found the idol on Day 5 or 6. His beard is a lot more pronounced in the scene where he finds the idol than it was at the first Tribal Council. He probably did find it while Yasmin was at camp. She might have been on another part of the beach or away doing a confessional at the time, though. And before you start to bitch, Survivor has always played around with the sequence of events like that.
