In all fairness, it was a rule clearly stated before the challenge that if you weren't in the zone you were kicked off. Ben's was because he kicked
somebody. It wasn't in the rules, it was a judgment call that he should be kicked out. Therein lies the difference. I was thinking the same thing as well.

Jeff is right. First discretionary disqualification.

Agreed. There have been countless disqualifications, as a result of violating the rules of a challenge. This was the first time Peachy went beyond the rules to
disqualify someone.

While I LOVE a good challenge, I don't think there is anyone to fault with the brutality of that challenge except Survivor Production. It was a safety
issue big time. I do not fault Ben for giving it his 100%, as anyone would do in a challenge on the road to a million dollars. I fault production for
designing a challenge that was downright dangerous & too few rules, most of which were vague, like "No cheap shots." Be specific about what you
can and cannot do. This kind of situation invites litigation.
So, Survivor Production, while I normally applaud you with glee, this time I must say "Shame on you." |

Can you imagine somebody like Rudy competing in a challenge like this? |

They made it seem like it would be something crazier, like if Ben tackled Yasmin into the wall or clocked someone in the face. Instead he just tripped Russel
S.

No, it's just that Thailand was so bad, even Anal Probst repressed it from his memory.

Usually they've reserved tackle challenges like this for lagoons. Having it on dry ground was not the best idea.

To be fair... attack zone was pathetically small in Thailand.
I would love to see Jed-Ted match-up. |

How would Jiffy Poop like it if Ben unleashed his cheap shot upon HIM?

He'd probably just clean it out of his eye just like with Colby.

To be honest, Lydia should have been the first castaway in the history of Survivor to be kicked out of the challenge for running in the Guatemalan basketball
challenge with the ball in her arms.

I think Colby broke a rule in that Australia ropes immunity challenge by having both of the hooks off the ropes at one point, but I may be wrong. Should've been disqualified if he did, that was against the rules. |
