Well at least Michael Emerson and Kristen Chenoweth won.

I guess they want to inform viewers that 30 Rock and Mad Men are omg the best shows ever!!! and no other shows compare!1!
They'll win the same emmys next probably too. ugh |

365 days 'till Lost gets robbed yet again!I said it before, but barring any catastrophic, terrible ending, I think Lost having its final season gurantees it will see more Emmy love than it did this year. It doesn't mean it'll win Best Drama but it's chances go up by a lot. It's too complicated for voters to follow but even they would have to realize what an achievement the series was. Sort of like LOTR (as cindidindi put it). |

Wow, that sure is a lot of repeat winners. 2008's Best Comedy, Best Drama, Best Drama Actor and Actress, and Best Comedy Actor are also 2009's Best.
Hmmm. |

I'm sorry, but Mad Men is fucking dull. And that line about "first the election...now this" as though they're somehow comparable almost broke
my eye muscles. They can only roll so much.

Mad Men is the ONLY show worth watching right now. It is like a subtly-layered delicious dessert that gets sweeter and more profound every episode. |

I watched two entire episodes of this Mad Men show just to see what i was missing and honestly...i don''t get it. Boring as shit, meandering and
pointless. I guess I'm missing something cause this show gets fellated in like every article i've ever read about it.

Well we know where the lines are drawn. The ones who think True Blood is the most award worthy show are mostly the Mad Men haters. Who'd have thunk?

I tried to get into Mad Men but couldn't do it. Or 30 Rock for that matter, but I can see why people like both. Just not me.
NPH should be Emmy host eternal. A couple of gaffes but overall nicely played, nicely played. |

too bad for the people who don't like Mad Men (and 30 Rock for that matter). To me, two of the most exciting and consistantly developed shows in years, and
what is very, very right in television today.

Oh, I love 30 Rock - I don't like Mad Men, nothing at all captivating about watching some rich housewives and execs basking in each others snobbiness.

Mad Men is the ONLY show worth watching right now.If you mean literally right now, then sure. But that's only because Lost and Breaking Bad are on hiatus. Mad Men is really good but there's plenty of good shows out there. |

I just read that Cherry Jones won an award for playing the President on "24." Her being nominated was ridiculous and now she won? WTF? 95% of
the voters probably didn't even watch "24" this year.

I don't really care about the Emmy's but I just wanted to say I'm glad Toni won. That's the juiciest role on television currently and she
plays it to perfection.

I watch TV to be entertained. Mad Men doesn't entertain me. I can appreciate Mad Men from a visual and aesthetic standpoint, but I don't find the
characters or storylines engaging at all.
Different strokes for different folks. |
