Hollywood wannabes
People with no relationship at stake - Dating is not a relationship and nothing it being challenged.
The only thing this season does not have is the mandatory young blond team. Thanks God!

Ginawantsme wrote:1. They're gay brothers, so that's some form of a first, but not the first gay team for sure. 2. Some of the teams they've actually casted this season aren't Hollywood wannabes, since they actually seem to have established careers. 3. Does on/off dating count? 4. Cheyne/Meghan are the blond team. Just not the blond team we expected. 5. Expect the "dupe thread" posts to come soon. |

Actually, one team is gay.

They just need to put Saaphyri and Buckwild on a team together and it would easily be the best season ever and best cast ever.

I refuse to believe Claude watches VH1 shows.
Saaphryi/Buckwild would be early boots, so they should just take over from Phil, but get to do challenge commentaries too. |

Ginawantsme wrote:What other relationships are "at stake"? A happily married couple aren't going to get a divorce. Friends (which according to you wouldn't be a 'relationship' either) aren't going to stop speaking to each other, same with family. Dating couples have more at stake as far as their relationship goes than pretty much any other team. The ones that bring the drama (Nate/Jenn, Terrence/Sarah) are some of the best teams to watch. |

I'm mostly disappointed in the fact that there are 4 male/male teams and only one female/female team. An all female team has never won, and never will if
they pull this crap. It's like how Big Brother insists on putting more men than women in the house every season despite the fact that men usually win.

Gay brothers, an interracial married team, female poker pros. It's all superficial stuff and who knows if any of these people are interesting, but I'd
say the casting this season is pretty darn interesting. Where's the letdown?

Its like a tradition. they always gotta find something to bitch about.

Where's the letdown? The multiple barely distinguishable bland young dating couples, maybe? |

2/6 of the young couple teams are out.
they and Meghan/Cheyne were the only casting duds this season. |
