This was mostly a transitional ep to catch us up to speed with all the new turns in the characters' lives. Transitional episodes never work! This one
sucked and all the storylines were weird and a bit forced. I just didn't believe that Blair would go along with Chuck's game, I don't see any
advantage in it for her and the excuse that she wants to embarrass someone was really flimsy because...um...I think it reflects worse on HER if her guy is
cheating, not on the girl who is trying to steal a man.
When did Serena get so obsessed with her dad and why? That seemed to come out of nowhere. And I'm still not sure why she told everyone that Carter was stalking her??? Nothing really added up here for me, it all felt forced to create dramaz.
The rationalization of how Nate met Brie was unrealistic and the whole rivalry again seemed to come out of nowhere.
The only storyline I liked was Jenny's with finally having money and I don't mind the storyline with the brother stalking Dan and dating Vanessa.
Personally I think they should have started next week with college and found a way to catch up the audience through that setting.

. They all went to the same high school though, and they all hung out together during various points in the first 2 seasons. When they do school scenes
now, they're gonna have Jenny/high school, the NYU gang, and Nate by himself @ Columbia.
