She doesn't need to be suspended. Whether the foot fault was a good call or not is beside the point. She's going to have to live with her stupidity for
the rest of her career. Which is kind of sad.

She'll forget about it, just like all the rest of the idiotic things she's done since the beginning of her career.

Lol Serena shouldn't be suspended. Losing the match was enough. Like she told the umpire, that was far from the worst thing anyone has done or said. It
would have been a completely different thing if she actually went over there and shoved the ball down her fucking throat, but she refrained from it (I
wouldn't have spared the bitch, if it was me though).
Yeah I don't know HOW Serena is gonna possibly live with this for the rest of the career. I hope she can find some comfort in her 22 (prbly 23 on Monday) GS wins. |

The call was a foot fault.... and the second in the match for Serena. Not sure if it was from the same line judge or not, but I'd guess yeah.
Foot fault calls are bullshit. This was a very tense match for Serena because she wasn't plaiyng well. Calling a foot fault against a top player in a major match at a mojor moment is bullshit. That little Asian bitch deserved to have that ball crammed down her throat and worse. She was paid by someone to call those foot faults. Someone who didn't want Serena to win. This conspiracy will shed it's light over the next few days... |

A rules violation is a rules violation be it in the 1st round of a midcarder tournament or at a critical point Deep in the Major. That being said with the replays shown I could not tell personally one way or another if that was a footfault violation. |

WTF are people going on about? There's a fucking lines JUDGE for a reason. The judge can be suspended after a match, but during the game, his or her
decision is final. BECAUSE SHE'S THE FUCKING JUDGE.

GnarlsInCharge wrote:Yeah, I agree. It's a rule. Whether or not you think it's a bullshit rule is irrelevant, it's still a rule. A rule for all times, not just for some matches or at certain times during a match. I don't get the "it shouldn't have been done at that time" argument. The rule doesn't say "foot faults are only called in non Grand Slam events" or "foot faults are not called 2 points away from a match point". Even McEnroe said "You can't do that then". Well if that's the case, then don't have the fucking rule in the first place. |

Serena clearly slides her foot across the line before she hits the ball.
Unfair advantage- kudos to the judge who called it. |

Bottom line, with everything on the line, don't create an opening for a judge to make a call. Move that foot back a bit. Same in other sports. For example,
in baseball with batters looking at borderline pitches on a 3-2 count. That ump isn't going to be your friend.

So who takes it today? I know who I want to win but I say Del Potro and Federer make the finals.
