Liked it, didn't love it like I did the pilot, but I'll give it lots of time to settle in. I hate the wife and her sister. I know the show is fanciful, but that storyline is too much like bad soap opera for me. I hope that faux baby goes away pronto. SI, I can see what you mean about an Ellen Greene-like quality, but for me she lacks her goofy charm - this wife is just too one-dimensional for me to enjoy in an over-the-top way, like Sue.

Put me on the "Will was really hot during Golddigger" list.

I agree that the dubbing was awful - but the show was good (not as great as the pilot grant you) and there were a lot of laugh out loud moments....and the snarky lines reminded me of Veronica Mars the best being between Rachel and the guidance councilor in the bathroom:

"I guess I don't have a gag reflex"
"don't worry dear, that will be an asset as you get older" (or something along those lines).

Loved every minute of it. Loved it so much, I missed ANTM on purpose. Our stupid CW runs everything an hour later, so they can run the news at 7. Brilliant strategy. I'd follow Glee in a burning building.

So will the wife and sister start stalking pregnant high school girls to steal a baby? I love that she already gained ten pounds. She'll have NO trouble looking pregnant at that rate.

My only gripe is, I like it more when they surprise us with the songs. They should show them and then have them available for download. It's more magical this way! Not that Fox cares what I think though!

Funny Itunes doesn't have last night's episode for sale yet, and there is no option for a season pass either. My hope is they are planning on releasing some sort of special pass where you get the videos along with the show. I agree they should not list the songs until after the show airs. That being said, I thought last night was good, but not amazing like the pilot. One reason I think is because the pilot left you on such a high note with "don't stop believing." The "say a little prayer" was good, but I kept thinking of that damn Julia Roberts movie the whole time. Still it is our household favorite show and from all the updates on Facebook it looks like it is our friends too. (although people are griping about the lip-sych sound of it).

TV Ratings: SYTYCD vs. POTUS and Glee premieres nicely

FOX easily won the night dominating the adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 demos.

From 8pm-9pm the president averaged 21.2 million just on ABC (adults 18-49 rating/share =1.8/5, 7.4 million total viewers), CBS (1.2/4, 5.63 million) and NBC (1.9/6.8.16 million).

People want to jump the gun on declaring So You Think You Can Dance in the fall a mistake and a loser. For now, FOX laughs at you and will take its 2.7/8 adults 18-49 rating and 3.0/9 with adults 18-34 and not worry that there were only 6.465 million viewers. Leave Marc Berman to complain about that while FOX smiles at its year over year improvements even if it wasn't as strong as the summer version of the show.

And I'm sure someone will declare the premiere of Glee a failure because it only got 7.136 million viewers, but with a 3.4/9 adults 18-49 rating and a 3.7/10 with adults 18-34, FOX will no doubt be dubbing this "Fall's new hit" before I even hit the "publish" button. Glee destroyed America's Got Talent in the demos. Though AGT had more viewers (9.69M) its 2.1/5 adults 18-49 rating and 1.5/4 adults 18-34 rating were relatively paltry. With adults 18-34 Glee won by more than 100% over AGT!

In an all original night, the season-premiere of the first fall edition of Fox's So You Think You Can Dance did not impress, with 6.46 million viewers (#3) and a first-place 2.6/ 8 among adults 18-49 at 8 p.m. Although the demo dominance is certainly good, the initial Wednesday 8 p.m. airing of So You Think You Can Dance in the most recent season scored a considerably stronger 8.71 million viewers and a 3.5/10 among adults 18-49 in the time period on May 27, 2009. As I have feared all along, the lack of time between seasons may not be beneficial for the dance/competition.

Fox had better news at 9 p.m. care of the series-premiere of Glee at 7.31 million viewers (#2) and a dominant 3.4/ 9 among adults 18-49. Comparably, that built from the 8:30 p.m. portion of So You Think You Can Dance (Viewers: 6.58 million; A18-49: 2.8/ 8) by 730,000 viewers and 25 percent in the demo. Although I refer to Glee as a series-premiere, keep in mind that it did preview out of American Idol on Tuesday, May 19.

Love love LOVE this show! I'm usually not one for musicals in any form but I'm totally hooked. To be honest, I only turned it on because of Jane Lynch, I always get a laugh out of her.

"YAY GLEE! GLEE KIDS HOORAY!"

Not as epic and amazing as the pilot but, still one of the best thing I've seen on TV. I can't wait for Golden Globe/Emmy time as we should see "Glee" on the ballot multiple times.

Also, can't wait to see more of Kurt and the "technicolor zebra" <33333

I think it was inevitable that the second episode would not live up to expectations for some. The show has been promoted heavily and the wait between episodes was months. That being said, I still think it is the best original programming I've seen in so very, very long.

I hope that FOX will give the show a chance to build an audience and with all the promotion they're doing for it, I think the chances of that are quite good.

Side note and not really related to anything, but Puck (the jock that always bullies Kurt) reminds me so much of Robbie Williams. It's distracting at times.
