Jon deserves to be applauded for speaking out finally. He's obviously been beaten down by Kate over the years and he's finally stepping out to speak
the truth. He could just stay a silent statistic, the battered husband that is afraid to speak out and look less like a man for admitting his wife controlled
him. Instead he is standing up for himself and making it clear to all people in relationships, regardless of if they are men or women, to speak out when they
are being mistreated.

I admit I was rather embarrassed for Jon. He kind of looked like a nutcase at times. The interviewer (sorry, don't know his name) really gave it to him. No
coddling there like Kate gets in her interviews.

wow, so much to more to hate about Jon after his interview... how about his "speculation" about Kate and the bodyguard. It seems he was just jealous
that she was travelling with him while Jon had to stay home and "babysit" (again, they're his kids so not really babysitting). No real reason for
his suspicions given other than they travelled together all the time. Well, he is her BODYGUARD - that's his job! Now suddenly Jon says he wanted to go
with Kate where in the past he has said he hated that part of their celebrity. hmmm... also, Kate has publically critized Jon about some of the choices
he's made lately, but him calling her a thief and saying that he despises her and loves his gf more than he ever loved her and that she is an abuser is a
new low for him. he really doesn't care about what his kids hear, and frankly all that money he spent on therapy was wasted if this is the way he thinks a
mature adult would/should act. Frankly, I hope he marries Haley because in about a year the hormones will wear off, and a couple weekends of her having to play
mom to his 8 kids and all the stresses that go along with real life will kill that relationship. Oh, and I also hope he does the "Divorced Dads" show
with those other losers so we have another thread to start, continuing to point out what a douchebag he is... can't wait...

As for being abused? Then you should have put a stop to it earlier. No way would my husband let me badger him the way Kate did. If he had said to her earlier that she had to stop treating him like that or the show is over you can bet your sweet ass she would have been nicer. Also he hates the spotlight? Well then don't throw bikini pool parties in Vegas and call it "work". Oh and the ring? Has he ever thought that maybe in a house full of kids one of them could have taken it to play with and lost it? |

After watching the interview, strong Team Jon now. Almost everything he said rang true, and felt honest. Everything I've seen of Kate, including the show
lately, seems highly planned and managed to improve her marketablilty and protect the brand. Nothing rings true.
The part that rang true the most was when he said he was going to counseling and wanted Kate to go to counseling with him. She says no and instead organizes a meeting with Dr. Phil and it's all about the brand and show. Totally 100% rings true. |

If Jon thinks his next relationship will be any better without him getting some counseling to figure out why he allowed Kate to bully him - he's
delusional. People like that repeat the patterns over and over.
I highly doubt he's still in counseling since being 'broken' has gotten him more publicity. |

I continue to watch the Kate & 8 show only for the rare interaction of Jon with the kids. While even those are probably partially scripted, it feels a lot
more realistic than Kate's freebie trips forced interactions.

What does kind of creep me out is these are 2 ordinary people and we are so fascinated with their every brain fart. It's not like they have any talents like most celebrities... I do love their kids tho and i hate kids. |
