This year the "blame" seems to be split between the two finalists which is kind of weird and I guess good for both of them.
I see tons of people who are mad at Blake for getting in over Melinda and then just as many people who think Jordin is in Melinda's spot. Usually the blame is more one sided. |

I can't even understand how anyone can think that Jordin took Melinda's spot.
Flake sucked F3 night and to think that he deserves a spot in the finals over Jordin is just crazy. Finale should have been a sing off between Melinda/Jordin. Flake robbed Melinda of that chance. ..errr I should say Flake's delusional fans did. |

I wanted Melinda to win. Melinda was definitely more polished by a long shot, but Jordin has a wonderful voice, and her "I, Who have nothing" rendition, the first time, absolutely blew me away. One of the best AI performances of all time.
Also, Jordin, although young knew how to present herself and dress better than Melinda who wore a grey sweatpants outfit for her finale night last week, which was plain ugly and a stupid outfit. Although she's 17, Jordin seems to be a smart girl and has the advantage of what seems like good family roots/ties. I hope she does very well, but the entertainer's life is not an easy one for anyone no matter the age. She will have to learn fast, just like the others. She should win because she deserves it over Blake, no question. And from there I hope she has the success she's been wanting. Her rendition last night of "This is my Now" sounded like a classic...I was wondering where I had heard it before lol...but she made me want to hear her sing it again. I wish I didn't hate so many of the other so-called top ten so much, otherwise I might be tempted to see the AI concert this year, just to see Jordin, Melinda, Lakisha and Stepahnie. The others can all die. |

Third time is a charm...because seems that she was rejected by both Star Search and American Juniors...Who woulda thunk?
It would appear that "Little Miss Innocent" has been stalking the reality show circut for some time now. (And she STILL apparently has not had one person advise her that she needed to be entertaining) And people thought Melinda was a phoney! LOL |

Jordin was correct when she told us she had nothing.
She's had 3 really good performances this whole season. Two of those were the same song. The rest were either just ok, or terrible (hey baby!) I couldn't understand half of the Christina song she sang last night because she was running all the words together and not enunciating. She has no breath control, and she doesn't seem to know how to phrase a song. I don't think anybody would buy her version of that song. She outsang Blake last night. Haley could have done that, and shown more personality. (ok,more legs, but still) She didn't even finish her winners song. Crying isn't singing. She had no reason to cry, other than for the realization that it was a weak song for her first single and that at the end of the season, she won by default, since Blake couldn't sing the song. <sigh> I'm not bitter. Melinda would have wiped the floor with Jordin on that song. Sanjaya Vs Haley would have been more entertaining than Blake's hour long deathmarch. |
