Wow, I totally forgot that the taping already happened; so I was shocked to find these at twop:

Partners, styles and choreographers (note that I'm sure to get the order wrong as my memory isn't totally awesome):
- First was Tara Jean and Everett, doing a jive. At the time, we were so excited to finally see some dancing that I think it was received better than it would have been later in the evening. Not bad, not amazing.
- Vincent and Amy doing a samba. There was one messed up lift, but they recovered decently (at least from where I was standing). He was very strong.
- Cody and Melanie Mah doing a Stacey Toukey(?) contemporary (with Nico as her helper!): This was one of my three favourite routines of the night, though I should warn you that I am predisposed to like it, as I like both of these dancers a lot. It wasn't an angsty routine.
- Emanuel and Kim doing a Showtyme hip hop: My least favourite routine of the night, though I thought Kim was strong. Silly costumes, I thought (weird purple-and-black striped suits?) didn't help matters. It was supposed to be 90s-style hip hop, so maybe I just didn't appreciate what they were trying to do.
- Jayme-Rae and Daniel doing afro jazz choreographed by Sean Cheesman: Hands down the judges' favourite routine of the night, and one of my three favourites. They were doing a voodoo-priestess type thing, and it was very cool and well-danced.
- Anthony and Corynne doing a waltz: I thought he was really strong, and she annoys me. It was fine.
- Danny and Natalie (?) doing a Showtyme hip hop routine: This was my third favourite routine of the night, though I think I might have liked it a little more than the judges did?
- Austin and Tatiana doing a capoiera(?): I really liked this routine a lot more than I thought I would, and I liked this couple together a lot more than I thought I would.
- Jenna-something and Nicolas doing a disco: another fine routine.
- Melanie B. and Taylor doing a foxtrot: I didn't think she was particularly strong, considering it was her style.

If I had my way, Emanuel and Corynne would go. I'm worried for Anthony, because I thought he might be somewhat cannon-fodder-y, though I liked him.

Nico, Miles, Vincent, Natalli and some other girls from last year were all there. Jean Marc's son danced for us a bit during the break (he seemed majorly too-cool-for-school).

BTW, I checked idolforums, and despite eye rolling at the Cody love, I was happy to see more spoilers. I'm also happy that Melanie Mah is with Cody, since whatever helps her get further is fine by me. Also, some of the opinions are different, and apparently Mel B did a TANGO, not a fox trot (and she was apparently very good). Anyone can check out idolforums for themselves; I'm going to bed.
