The plot had SO many holes in it and I felt like some people acted really stupid who shouldn't have--it was out of their character. I mean Sam knows the whole town is crazy--he saw them all after him in the jail cell and fucking at the party, so did he really think it'd be a good idea to go alone without ANYTHING into Merlottes? Sookie doesn't need another superpower in my opinion. Next season we'll find out Sookie can fly! Why are some people who are influenced by Mary Anne really dumb and others cunning and know what's going on essentially? I just thought the episode was screwy. Yes, there were funny parts and a lot happened, but I think it really dropped the ball on a few things that made me roll my eyes. Granted, only my opinion...and I'm sure everyone else just loved it.

I know there's been some complaining about the maenad storyline, and rightfully so, but... c'mon. Hope it wraps well. Wasn't much of a cliffhanger, since they've shown Sophie feasting in the previews. And short ep. GRR. But great ep. over all.

At least Rene and the FOTS were somewhat worthy adversaries...

I shouldn't have to read the books to suddenly "understand" the show. So that's a horrible argument. And thanks Drew B. I still love the show, but when they phone in these plot holes it seems, and everyone acts out of character, it's just disappointing...True Blood is better than that.

Wasn't distracting to me. I don't think you need to have read the books (I haven't) to see that Sookie's powers are being revealed, not added on. She's obviously more than what's been shown, there's a reason the vamps are attracted to her so much (and she's not dead yet).
