The state gets paid, the county gets paid, the attorneys get paid, the fucking joke of counselors and programs that do the mandatory 'educational' crap and Aftercare garbage get paid. It's not about stopping drunk driving, it's too fucking lucrative, and it tries to masquerade as being 'preventative'. Bottom line: Wanna stop drunk driving? First Offense: 30 days jail, One Year License revocation, mandatory breathalyzer thingy on your registered vehicles. Second Offense: Permanent revocation. Done.

Scenario 3- Brutally decapitate another man on a Greyhound Bus? Sentence- Sent to a mental institution where these sick fuck psychiatrists want to release him back into the community ASAP. Scenario 4- You have such a severely retarded child that is in a vegetative state where the child living is pure torture. So the father decides to humanely euthanize her (AKA putting her to sleep). Sentence- MANDATORY LIFE SENTENCE WITH NO CHANCE OF PAROLE FOR 10 YEARS! What a fucking joke!

The guy was native so chances are it was. I'm so proud of my province. All the things (minus 1, but still, the greyhound decapitator had to have crossed into my province to get to Manitoba anyways) I listed happened in my province alone.

Some jobs, which I bet this one is no exception, require a driver's abstract from the motor vehicle dept when hired, but I wonder if that's something they have to provide every so often in case of shit like this. If not, he can just drive the differently abled around illegally.
