I can't wait to see how the producers pander to the hue and cry this time. In the past, every time there's been a lot of talk in the forums about some aspect of Kate's behaviour, a few episodes down the line show her doing something to answer the criticism. For example, the boards were full of ridicule for her "cooking" style, which usually consists of crudites and pieces of lunch meat from the craft service, and then there's a whole episode about her making a big pot of homemade soup. In one of the early seasons, there was an episode where the family "gave back" to the friends and neighbours who helped them so much; they went carolling and gifting with homemade cookies at Christmas. According to Jodi and Kevin, Kate bitched and moaned about having to do that, but the producers insisted, because Kate was being called out for being the ungrateful bitch she is. So, it'll be interesting to see what fakery they come up with in these new episodes to try to make her look like the loving mother she keeps telling us she is.

Oh, and the light dawned for me last night while I was watching "What Not to Wear"...they had the promo for Monday night's episode, with Kate putting up tents (da duh DA!!! ) and I was thinking, okay they're making her actually do things with the kids, when the very next commercial was for Coleman camping supplies. Well, duh, it's the patented product placement!! I don't know how I missed it earlier.
