I think it's kinda ridiculous that people are complaining about the Idols based on the way they worked in S12-13. They recognized the problem and adjusted
it for Fiji. After guy after guy was sent to Exile again, they changed the method to both a) reward the winning tribe and b) allow it to favor the social game
rather than the physical game.
They fixed em. Get over it. The Edgardo boot was the best TC in Fiji BECAUSE the idol was involved. The idols are not boring, "played out", and do not take up too much time in their current form. What's tired out is CSCin3D bitching about every upcoming season before it's even aired.

The worst twist was the luxury/poverty twist in Fiji. Had they done it so the winning reward challenge tribe got to live in the good camp, it would have been
more interesting. Otherwise it was simply pointless unbalancing of the odds.

I normally avoid self-bumpage, but I noticed something tonight that leads me to believe that EPMB is fucking around not only with us, the enitre Survivor Sucks
community, but me personally.
Didja notice that on the second tribal reshuffle tonight, they had the contestants draw numbered stones from a bag? Did anyone else wonder which rock was purple? FU EPMB. Quit changing the rules. |

Oooh that is a good thread, and one that I look forward to reading in the offseason.
Imagine this though folks. EPMB engineers a reshuffle in Pulau Tiga with 10 morons left to go. Suddenly Dicque is paired off with Sioux accompained by Dr. Alphabet, Gerv, and Gretchen. Wigglesworth meanwhile is stranded with Rudy, Buis, J.Blow, and The Kitten. Do you think Dicque & Kelly would've been the F2? I'd call Buis vs. J.Blow with Buis FTW. Yes, this is fanfic territory, but still: The initial brilliant Onion alliance of Gabon was rendered on life support by EPMB's first tribal shuffle, then time of death upon tonight's second reshuffle. Wow. If this reshuffling works so great, I wonder why he didn't reshuffle to break up the Evial Tagi Alliance? As if keeping that alliance intact hurt the ratings. |

Terrible twist. Add Marcus to the list of players screwed unjustly by a "twist". In ASS, a tribe works to gain a 6-4 advantage over the other
tribe, only to see EPMB flip it to two tribes of five. Amber miraculously survives Burnett's attempt to save dumbasses Lex and Kathy. Many seasons go by
until we reach Gabon. Marcus is sitting pretty as the leader of a tribe of six with a strong alliance and in the driver's seat to win. Next thing you
know, we get ANOTHER unjust twist where the 6-4 lead turns into a 5-5 toss-up. One turncoat later and Marcus is out. This SECOND tribe mixup smells of last
minute manipulation and shenanigans. Pre-show Probst interviews suggested that he did not like Marcus. And now Marcus gets screwed just before he sails into
the merge. Hmmmmmmmm .........
Either way, Survivor is no longer "outwit, outlast, outplay" as it has become more "roll the dice and see if you're lucky". It's bullshit now, so stick a fork in this season, it's DUN. |

Oowatanite wrote:This part I do not agree with. Marcus and the Onions first alienate Susie by vote splitting at Dan's exit TC. Yes, this is exactly the way you should vote when you're worried about your target having an idol, but it still showed Susie where she stood in the tribe. Next, the tribes get shuffled, with each tribe having a 3-2 Kota advantage. Here, Marcus decides that Crystal, whom he's just met, should be in the Kota 6 instead of Susie, so he completely opens up his plan to Crystal of Susie being out of the alliance and that Kenny, Crystal's biggest ally, is the first target. In this way, Marcus actually kind of lucked out at the way the shuffle went down, yet still managed to screw himself over. He had no need to play so erratically at that crucial point of the game, but he did and he messed it all up. |

I wanna see a season where the multiple tribe twist goes through until the end of merge. As in no tribal melting and swapping. I dont care if only one member
of a tribe reach the merge. i just want to see a 3 tribe or 4 tribe season that didnt merged into 2.
I also wanna see an earlier merge. |

Oowatanite wrote: At least the challenge was unthrowable. Production fixed that problem with Aaron being screwed over by Jaime and Peih-Gee throwing a team challenge during China. The Gabon challenge was individual, and endurance at that. All Marcus had to do was win the challenge and he'd be safe. He wasn't forced to rely on somebody else for the win. But either way, someone was gonna be screwed by that twist. Had newnewFang lost, Matty was toast. And Matty won the challenge, saving himself. That's how it's done. |
