I love both seasons, but for different reasons. Mole 2 has a much more lively cast, and Anderson is more fun than he was in the original season, but I think
that season stays truer to the original premise. The Mole is supposed to be mysterious and kind of gloomy with a pseudo James Bond type atmosphere, which the
first season has. Plus the final 3 were generally better detectives/players than Mole 2s. Anyone agree?

Even though I was more connected to the players on Mole 2, I liked season 1 a bit better. It had an organic feel that season 2 lacked. Season 2 had too many
players as well.

Season 1 had better missions but season 2 overall was more enjoyable cast-wise.

I think Season 1 had the best games, Season 2 had the best players, and Season 5 had the best production. (Not just the graphics, but I think they did a good
job of keeping the narrative easy enough to follow without dumbing the games down.)

My main complaint is season 5 was less somber mystery and more action in terms of editing. Maybe it's just me though.

Yeah, The Mole isn't supposed to be an action centric show as much as a mystery. Mole 3(I won't include the celebrity versions) didn't have the
best editing, but it could have been a lot worse. The score isn't even that bad, it's just not as good as the original.

Young? The winners of the mundane versions were 30 and 24 respectivly. I can why you would think that though. I can imagine the first cast of Survivor being
called "mactorish" today.
 I have a healthy dose of cynicism when watching reality shows, but some people go too far with it.

You have to remember that the first Mole was 8 years ago and the production company that made it has transformed in that time. The producers have a huge hand
in shaping a show to what they think fans want. If you put a guy who worked for Real World in charge of The Mole it's going to look like "Real Mole
World"!

Love having you two here. This forum won't die if I have anything to say about it.
No Mark, I meant your comment about what people expect out of the game. If viewers really expect an older cast, I don't know what to say, since history doesn't support them. Even the first season of Survivor skewed younger with the exception of three older folk. |

I preferred the tests in season 1, the cast of season 2. Season 5, the missions weren't as intense, but most of the cast was great.
