Aw, she's prickly by nature. I don't think she was all that upset.
Upset was Kevin Bacon doing publicity for his direct to DVD movie about accompanying fallen soldiers to their final resting places. Clearly an acting act of love and Craig didn't exactly honor the circumstances. Still, the frog monologue was classic! |

I kept laughing out loud at his opening on Friday. I can't remember any of it now though. My son actually quit playing Guitar Hero to find out what was
making me laugh so hard.

I didn't click that youtubie and hadn't watched last night's ep until just now, and suddenly realized what the youtube was about -- HOLY CRAP WHAT
A MASTERPIECE!
I haven't laughed that hard at a late night set piece since Kimmel's I'm Fucking Ben Affleck! And the Chenbot is yet to come?! That's it. Ferguson just cemented hisself as the best of the late night talkers! And I'm going to write in to ask him to change my vote to the unicorn. Or maybe he'd accept a vote for the 'stache? |

Craig Ferguson literally makes me almost pee myself some nights. He's so naturally funny.
I think the mere act of having folks vote for the puppets is crazy funny. I like the shark. |

I just used craigferguson@cbs.com, which is his usual "do we have time for emails" address and which he said to use for the voting.
I did see that there's a website now though. Maybe all the sudden votes for Ahmadinejad are crashing it? Or maybe them Iranians hit it with a denial of service attack, North Korea style? I'm still giggling about the White Lines intro. I actually ordered that CD for funzies. |

Craig is finally being broadcast in HD. He seems to be quite happy about the change.
To me, all it means is that I have the choice between a small letter boxed picture, or a zoom picture that cuts off the sides. |

Craig sometimes tends to be a little too cute for his own good and I'm afraid this HD thing will only encourage him.
That being said, I loved the sense of space it gives to the set. Whereas Dave plays to a theater & Conan plays to a stadium, Craig plays only club dates. And despite his lighting problems and lack of a band, it's better that way. Thank you CBS for spending enough money to get the cat "what did we learn on the show tonight, Craig?" graphic ready in time for the HD switch! |

I have mixed feelings about the new opening. The best thing about this show is that it IS cheap compared to the other late night shows. That's part of
it's charm.
