The British allowed slavery in their colonies until the 1830s. What makes you think they'd have made an exception in America? I'm inclined to think
they'd have extended it further had they had control of the southern cotton trade.

yep, and add that supposedly the first person killed in the Revolutionary War was a black man, and I think they should celebrate it 'cause they died for it
and fought for it
btw, I believe that was a free black man
