I had fun. All four actually sang pretty well, with the exception of Jasmine's first song, which was shrill and grating. Here's a mini-review:

Jasmine, despite sounding pretty good, was so pageant-y and phony that she drove me nuts. She kept talking about dreams coming true and shit. Ugh! She looked fabulous, though. She wore a silver, fringed flapper mini-dress and showed off gorgeous legs.

Mikalah was probably the best to me, because she just came off the most relaxed and genuine. She has an over-the-top personality, but it doesn't feel forced because that's really her. She looked sexy in a Tiffani Amber Thiessen way, and she had on about ten pounds of hair (I'm not sure if it was a wig or a weave or if she just has amazingly thick, lustrous hair).

David Hernandez, even in the setting of a Vegas lounge, was just too cheezy for words. He sang AMAZINGLY well - seriously, I think he is one of the most talented singers the show has ever had - but that doesn't overcome the annoying vibe he gives off. He came out in a suit with glitter detail on the j.acket (?). Then, after two songs, he took off the j.acket because he's been "working out a little", and was left with a short-sleeved shirt and vest showing off his guns. It's not that he looked bad, but it came off so desperate. He also kept eye-boinking women (?) in the audience and at one point, squatted down to sing to the woman next to me. His crotch was about 5 feet from my face. I hope I didn't catch anything...

Nikki sounded really, really good, but dayum, is that girl a mess. She has gotten so big and did not know how to dress to flatter her body. She wore a black, poufy mini-dress that showed her ham-hock arms and lumpy thighs. It was corseted, but rather than really helping her shape, the straining buttons showed just how bad the fit was. She made a half-assed attempt to cover numerous arm tattoos with body make-up (Lord knows why she even tried), but it just ended up looking like she was covered in old bruises. Her hair was a hot mess and she was missing a tooth (!). Still, I loved her. She did a song (an original, I think) about her recovery on the road to sobriety, and she showed such vulnerability. It was heart-wrenching.

Overall, it was 80 minutes (about twenty minutes each with one group song at the end), which was just the right length. It went down easy. Kind of like Hernandez...
