Splash Woman (MM9) Needless to say, when you're the only woman amongst 69 men, you automatically have an unfair advantage. Although in the end they're all genderless robots. But it's not just because she has a mechanical vagina that she ranks so high. She's just really original. The mermaid design and trident are a winning formula, kudos to Capcom for not making her look exactly like any other robot master but with long eyelashes and a bow on her head. Splash woman's fighting tactics are also some of the most creative ever. She starts by sitting on her trident and sings to summon schools of clown fish, which is adorable, then viciously starts blasting you with laser trident and finally attemps to stab you with it. No other robot master has ever created such a stir amongst MM fans before pictures of her were even released. For all these reasons, this Danica Patrick of the MM series deserves a spot at least in top 5. |

Gemini Man (MM3) Apparently a narcissist, Gemini Man has an armor made of mirrors and can duplicate himself. Now, wether the other one is his actual twin or a mirage/hologram, I never knew for sure. But it does make for an interesting battle as the two Gemini men keep circuling the room and will freeze and fire if you fire first. Drain half of their energy and one of them will vanish, forcing the remaining one, or real one if you will, to fight you one on one where his fighting tactics will drastically change. Instead of running around in circle like crazy, he will actually walk calmly and shoot his notorious Gemini laser, a really cool laser beam that ricochets of the walls. He also has one of the weirdest, if not the weirdest stage ever. It's like you're in some sort of fantasy world or a really bad acid trip. The little sperm that come out of the eggs though suck the fun out of this stage. For those of you who haven't played, don't ask. |

Metal Man (MM2) I don't think I've ever met a Mega Man fan who didn't like Metal Man. He is arguably the most badass robot master ever in terms of design. His main weapon are circular buzzsaws that he chucks at you relentlessly. They also act as ornaments to his really cool design, making him oddly look like a punk rocker. Albeit, he does look a bit like Transformer too. But themain reasonhe ranks so high is that he gives THE single greatest weapon in the history of this franchise. |

Quick Man (MM2) Quick man topping this chart can be explain mostly by sentimental value. WhenI was a kid he was my favorite robot master and whenever they introduced a new batch, no matter how much I thought they were cool, they could never top him. His design is top notch, although a bit copied from The Flash. I have a thing for boomerangs, andhe was the ultimate boomerang robot. He's also the only MM2 robot master that puts up a decent fight. As his name suggests, he move at a rapid pace and keeps fire triple boomerangs. In MM3, he brings you one of the most difficult fights of the entire franchise when he comes back as a Doc robot. His stage is also legendary. Many consider it to beridiculously difficult, but really all you have to do is to learn the pattern of the lasers, then it's easy as hell. It does require some trial and error though. Of course, 9 out of 10 players are total pussies who use the Time Stopper to bypass that section. I prefer to keep it and use it against Quick Man himself as it automatically drains away half of his energy. |

I agree, Gemini Man robbage!! I do really like Metal Man and Quick Man, but there is no way they can compare with the greatness of Gemini Man

Good list Wyldawg! You know I enjoyed it!
I love Quick Man yet also hate him. When I was younger, I would beat all the other robot master before him and then when he was the only one left, I would just shut the game off because I knew I wouldn't even get to him. |
