NEWS: Showtime is creating 12 animated webisodes that will air as a "Dexter" prequel to the series. Titled "Early Cuts," the webisodes will
explore how Dexter honed his killing craft. Michael C. Hall will do the voice, will be put online this fall.

I generally hate webisodes (all Battlestar Galactica's fault) as they are usually pointless and cheap looking but this may be fun. I'll reserve
excitement though to save me the disappointment later.

ShowTime is cool for rebroadcasting all of Dexter from Ep 1 this summer, 2 Eps each Sunday.

Awww... the BSG webisodes weren't all bad. The final one with Hoshi and all the damned No. 8's floating around was OK in particular.
But an animated set of webisodes? Of Dexter? As a prequel? No way this is going to work. |
