I loved seeing Meaghan's confidence boost when she lost the braces.

Sad to see Rebeccah go, but it was inevitable.

Boo @ Maryam having to stay behind...I don't see how she could possibly recover from not being able to do the go-sees. Not that it isn't fair - it's been at least two weeks since the last foreign trip, so she could conceptually have gotten it done in that amount of time. Maybe we'll get lucky and the preview is just misleading and she did manage to get it.

^ Mike and Jay have a pretty close friendship from what I understand (I think it might have been rumoured that they were dating?), so it was probably just him queening out and an extension of that relationship. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't return next cycle - he doesn't seem to have the ability to pull himself away and look at it as a business transaction. As for the product placement, I don't mind it so much. It's a necessary evil of television these days, and while it is pretty bad on this show (not just the Crest White Strips...how about Rebecca's mug being plastered ALL over the house?), it doesn't usually ruin the viewing experience - just gives me something to laugh about.

IMO, at this point, the only one who shouldn't actually have a shot at winning the competition is Linsay (and she would still be better than some of the ANTM winners). Any of the other girls would make a fine winner; granted, I strongly dislike Nikita, but that doesn't mean she wouldn't deserve it. Even with her faltering this week, Heather seems to be the one to beat. I almost feel like all the editing about how maybe she only has half the package etc etc is pretty much only an attempt to throw viewers off. In retrospect, it was pretty obvious that Rebecca was going to win Cycle 2, so I'm not surprised to see Cycle 3 going the same way. It's interesting to see how different Jay is from Tyra - it'd be nice to see him finally leave ANTM and then talk about some of the winners and eliminations under Tyrant; if he hates the word fierce, I would love to see what other opinions he's been keeping to himself. To be fair, it's not like Jay isn't playing favourites like Tyra does, but he doesn't seem to be choosing his favourite based on "okay, a black chick needs to win," but rather on actual talent and marketability. Sure, Rebecca hasn't taken the fashion world by storm (but really, what winner has?), but she showed actual potential to do so. Nobody in their right mind would think that any of the recent ANTM winners had a shot at even half of Rebecca's career.
