At first I hated the idea of them starting with 0 prize money but now that I'm thinking about it it might not be so bad if it's done creatively. If all
they do is make them compete as a household it would get old pretty fast but if they pair them in groups & make each group compete then the loser group is
bound to be ostracized. And feeds would be gold if they do stuff like make them stay awake all day & night & the first one to fall asleep makes them
lose 10K.

How about if they have to earn money individually and can take money off each other based on challenge performance or whatever? I think Big Brother France did
something similar.

maybe they'll tie the prize money to how much energy/water gets used. sounds pretty dull. you do get stanky people and outcasts/evictees that secretly run
the money out, though.

now that i think about it the bb au one started with 500 or 750g and fined them for not having on a mic or just about anything. VERY picky.
I am not sure they did a 0 to xxxx but i know they took $$ away and it was like 10 grand per fuckup. If you didn't call BB "big brother' u would get fined. It was a few years ago and a good memory is something I do not have. someone else probably recalls the details

Well, it could certainly stop the throwing of challenges, so that would be a plus for entertainment but could screw with strategy.
I googled eco friendly furniture, using the images tab--some of it is pretty cool looking, but I doubt Grodner will spring for the high end stuff. I predict hemp rope hammocks in one of the bedrooms. |

If the media folks competed in a new competition that had something to do with the house...and they're waiting to release the house pics and media day
video until after the houseguests are sequestered...maybe that means they're finally doing another secret room or something like that?

Sorry but there will be no more secret rooms. I enjoyed that but now everyone knows the layout & approx. size of the BB studio. The secret room only worked
the first season they used the new facility. No way they could rebuild the interior so as to hide an entire room.

I don't buy this new rumor. I buy that the house will be eco-friendly but I don't buy that they will have to compete for the prize money. Every year
there is always some crazy rumor about what the theme or twist is. Wasn't there a rumor about this season being a Fans vs Favorites like a month ago?

If I was an HG and got in there and they pulled the 0 prize money thing on me, I'd go to the DR and quit immediately. BB is already a hard show to win, not
to mention the longest, and with a relatively small prize pool, if that got even smaller, I don't think it would be worth it to me. Lower the final prize
even a little and I don't think it's worth my entire summer and 24/7 stress.

The thing about the earning money issue in BBAU7 was well there was no issue. The issue was nonexistent. From what I remember none of them seemed to care about
it and none of them were even thinking of leaving. If that is the twist then it is kind of lame in my opinion.
And I'm not entirely sure of the layout for the house but do they use all the space? They couldn't potentially add an extra room anywhere? I don't know why making a secret room would be so difficult. |
