Yesterday it was Halfwit's birthday and what a 'Hippy Birthday' it was, with the love-in going on well into the early hours.

Last night Halfwit had to instruct his fellow housemates to each write a poem about him, which once written had to be recited in front of the rest of the group. The housemates each successfully composed and recited their "Ode To Halfwit".

Then Big Brother granted Halfwit the Gift of Normality. The Gift of Normality gave Halfwit the power to do one of the following: change his name by deed poll from Halfwit back to Freddie, change Dogface's name by deed poll, from Dogface back to Sophie, or allow Noirin to stop having to draw a pair of glasses and a moustache on her face with marker pen.

Like any true gent, Halfwit chose to give Noirin the Gift of Normality, and she was naturally delighted, soon removing her glasses and moustache and receiving cheers from the rest of the housemates.

As a result of the day's Tasks, the housemates received 9 tokens, a carrot cake, some music and booze.

Maybe it was Halfwit's Gift of Normality to Noirin that sent Angel's pulse racing, but as the music was played into the House, the pair danced closely and then began to kiss as the horrified group looked on. The housemates then cheered and Angel replied, "it's his birthday".

Later Siavash asked Halfwit about the kiss and he simply said, "a kiss is just a kiss". That maybe so, but later on they had another snog which was to last at least 10 seconds!

Meanwhile Sree was getting upset that Noirin and Marcus seemed to be getting rather friendly, with Marcus suggesting that although he wouldn't want a romance in the House, he'd take Noirin out afterwards. Noirin didn't say no and she spent some of the night twizzling his hair!

In the Diary Room Karly told Big Brother that the housemates were closer to Halfwit following the day's celebrations.

Angel told Sree in the Bedroom that he should stop crying and moping around, get over Noirin and move on.
