150. Heidi Strobel (Survivor: Amazon - 5th Place)

I really didn't like the young girls' clique in Amazon. I mean, Shawna was excruciatingly boring and Jenna was horribly bitchy, but then you had Heidi as the third member. She was pretty bad too, but there was just something about her that set her apart from Jenna and made her at least somewhat entertaining to watch. You see, Jenna was bitchy, but she was smart, so she came off as a cold, heartless bitch. But Heidi was bitchy and dumb, which just made for hilarious TV as she would stay stuff that was clearly going to get her in trouble, but she didn't seem to understand that. You could always count on Heidi to make a funny (and offensive) comment, or to overestimate her own intelligence, as evidenced by her getting owned by Probst at one tribal council, and basically begging the players to name her as the most robbed of the season at another. So that's why she ranks this high up, because she was a funny character and mainly because you could never take her seriously, even when it was revealed that she had the highest IQ in the cast, thus making her dumb blonde edit that much funnier.


149. Sue Hawk (Survivor: Borneo - 4th Place)

Sue was probably the most famous player in Survivor history, going into Pearl Islands. Or at the very least, she was the catalyst behind the most famous moment in Survivor history, prior to Fairplay's dead grandmother lie. She went into the game as actually a pretty smart and strong player. She knew who would be her best choice to align with, and when Richard brought up the notion of making alliances in the first place, she jumped onboard with him and the Tagi 4 were born. Sue was certainly an interesting character because while Big Tom may be the epitome of redneck men everywhere, Sue was like the epitome of redneck men everywhere. She certainly had a strong attitude and she didn't like the notion of taking crap from anyone. She didn't even think twice about cutting loose Sonja (or Souna, as she spelled it) when the notion of an all-female alliance was brought up, and from there, she made it all the way to the final four, despite having a pretty abrasive personality. She got voted out when Kelly, her supposed friend who'd been playing both sides of the fence, betrayed her in a tiebreaker revote. This led to her snakes and rats speech at the final tribal council, which will forever live in infamy.


148. Janu Tornell (Survivor: Palau - 8th Place)

I'm not gonna lie and say that Janu was a big character in her season. I mean, for pretty much every episode but one, Janu was a mopey sadsack who basically lay in the hammock, sick and unable to do anything. She was friends with Colby and Caryn and Willard, and she managed to beat Kim to win immunity for her tribe (big deal), but aside from being nice, she was hardly cut out for playing Survivor. But her last episode, and her jury speech are what get her ranked this high. Janu was the first player (aside from Pearl Islands) to ever be sent to Exile Island, and it was solely because she was so weak and so poor of a player that she came in last in the immunity challenge. All by herself, she survived and she made fire, proving, at least to herself, that she wasn't as weak as everyone thought she was. Having done that, she quit the game, sacrificing herself to save Steph, even if it was only for one episode, but her quit allowed for a more entertaining season (again, only for one episode). And on the jury, she kinda trashed Katie, which was pretty much the only entertainment that FTC had, the Katie-bashing.


147. Jenna Lewis (Survivor: Borneo - 8th Place)

As much as I feel Jenna was completely undeserving of being on All-Stars, like Amanda, she wasn't THAT bad of a character. On Pagong, she was constantly being targetted as a negative force for one reason or another and even got their votes at the second merge tribal council, when they'd already seen the Tagi alliance in action, after they voted out Gretchen. So obviously, Jenna was annoying long before All-Stars, but it was chosen not to focus on that. In Borneo, Jenna was known as the young mother of young daughters who she hadn't seen in a very long time, and one of the saddest, most touching moments of the season was when everyone got brief videos from home, but Jenna's family hadn't sent theirs in time, so she had to sit and watch everyone else's loved ones while she got nothing. But then she got a letter from home and it was so nice and sweet, because back in Borneo, the producers weren't sadistic as much. She got taken out only because of the absolute stupidity of Sean's alphabet strategy, which was a shame at the time, because had she made it further, she might've actually deserved a spot on All-Stars.


146. James "J.T." Thomas Jr. (Survivor: Tocantins - 1st Place)

I'll start this write-up by saying that I feel J.T. was certainly a satisfying winner, even if I feel like the show kinda became boring towards the end, when everyone was lying down and giving J.T. a clear path to the finals, just because he was such a nice guy. Now, I'll definitely give him credit for playing such a great social game that people really fucked themselves over time and time again, just to help him out. It started on Jalapao when Sydney/Joe voted out Spencer over Taj, and it continued onto Forza, when all of Timbira, save for Erinn, basically did everything they could to help J.T. succeed. I mean, I'm happy that we finally got a unanimous victory with no votes cast against the player, even if it was by winning the final three immunity challenges, but still, J.T. was just too oversimplified and nice to really be as interesting of a winner as Taj or Stephen or Coach would've been. He was certainly better than Erinn, and I was happy that he took Stephen to the finals over her, but still, he was kinda dull.
