Once when father wasnt drinking for a few days and the beatings stopped I saw him pat mother on the bottom...and I thought ..what a happy loving family we are
...later that week he found a bottle in the cellar and he broke my arm ... but sherrif Tilly made him go away for a little while ..those were good time.

When we were kids we couldn't wait to be adults. Now that I'm an adult I look back at how sweet those days were.

I believe the best time of my life was when my son was young, my spouse and I were all into the mom and dad stuff, and the future seemed to be getting better
by the day!
Of course, now is pretty darn good too! There's something to be said for waking up to the smell of honeysuckle, a lovely woman by my side, and the dogs on the floor waiting for their morning romp! |
